Think they need a losing streak to finally get rid of Andy & JMM for people who could contribute if asked.

The Wolves won a third quarter. By +12. Over the Warriors.
I'll just be over here, waiting for the bottom to fall out.

Thibs loves his short, shooty guards.

*sigh* my Pels. :(
By Kabro Go To Postlakers about to get that work from the knicks.Lou Williams always goes off on the Knicks so don't be so sure.
By diehard Go To PostThey're missing an Andrew Bogut type.
They need a bench big who isn't a liability on offense. Varejao, JMM, JaVale, Looney, and Jones don't scare anyone. West can score but he's not much use on defense. I still think Speights is missed more than Bogut for these bad offensive stretches.
By pilonv1 Go To PostIt gets better Lakers fans
aw fuck lakeshow byke
Andrew Wiggins initiating offense is hot fucking trash and has been all season.
I thought everything was on the table, Thibs.

Man, the wolves suck at passing into the post. Just watched LaVine wast like 7 seconds trying to pass to Towns.
By WWCHGT Go To Postthese pullup 21 footers by wiggins are tough to watch
but blackace laughed when I said he was similar to Rudy Gay
By Kibner Go To PostReggie Williams (who the fuck is this?) Is keeping the Pels within striking distance of the Suns.
Former Warriors gunner Reggie Williams? Awesome scorer but will play less than zero defense
Everything was on the table, but Thibs decided that the isolation from Wiggins was still his money play and ran it ten times in a row to start the the 4th.
He's abominable.

That's him. Great tank second or third option.

By IWMTB19 Go To Post28-6 to start the quarter is not a great effort from the Wolves.Thibs?
I hate the idea that they just aren't trying hard enough when these huge runs happen. They literally stop running plays in favor of low percentage Wiggins isos. Thibs literally watched it fail a bunch of times in a row, called a timeout and then ran it again out of the timeout. Isn't this the definition of insanity?

Yeah, but what if a Wiggins iso works this time?
Why not have a guy take 22 foot jumpers on every possession when you have a ton of talented offensive players?
Thibs post-game will be the same shit again. They effort wasn't there, they need to play harder on defense, guys have to trust the system.
If everything was truly on the table, you'd stop dialing up these awful motion sets that take 10 seconds to start getting anywhere and stop calling Wiggins clear outs when the game gets tight. He's so unbearable.

Once Thibs takes up an entire interview by talking about his tie superstitions, his journey to the dark side will be complete.
By pilonv1 Go To PostSo who had Wolves & Sixers with the same record (6-18) in the middle of December?I'm gonna say something I know I can't take back:
They'd be better under Smitch.

KAT was better for sure under Smitch
By WWCHGT Go To Posti mean, that does not seem like a reach. They were better. The thing that really gets me about that, it's not just that they were winning more, but the defense was an entire two points better under Mitchell. They were still bad under Sam, but it's, you know, the thing Thibs is known for.
This season is really challenging the ideas that a. Smitch can't coach and b. Thibs is a genius. He has the same exact roster that Mitchell had and has it performing at worse levels. It's unreal. And then I realize this dude has total control over the organization for five years. Ugh.

This is not controversial, the whole world is better under The Smitch.
He can even call plays in French.
By blackace Go To PostRubio shooting 30% today… talking about dudes having to hit shots..This is an especially bad year for Ricky's shot, but Thibs goes huge stretches of time without letting him run the offense. Rubio is at his worst when he's being told to just go stand in the corner and be a spot up shooter. He simply can't do that, especially since he ends up being this last second chucker when somebody else (Wiggins...) dribbles into trouble.
The way Thibs is using Rubio and Dunn is infuriating. They are pick and roll points that he sparingly lets run pick and rolls.
When he talks about everything being on the table, how is this not the first thing to change? His point guards need the ball, they aren't Kirk Hinrich.
Whoever brought up Mark Jackson the other day for the Wolves was right. You can't go from under coached to over coached straight away with young guys. You need someone to get them to believe in themselves, not someone who is going to cut them down for not picking up their scheme instantly because his last coaching stint was a veteran playoff team who were extremely disciplined on defense.

i bet thibs would take it
Reporter asked Thibs after the game about the offense becoming Wiggins isolation heavy in the 4th.
"I don't know that I agree with that." He would go on to blame bad decision making.
Oh.

I was one of the few who was Thibs skeptical before he got the Wolves job.
Then again my biggest concern was that he would kill all his players.
