But to be fair, the bench is the big problem there. The D gives up too many points too, but they're only a -2.8 on the season. That's better than the Knicks, a team who everybody that's not paying enough attention is saying how "surprising" they are. The Wiz are salvageable, I don't think trading Wall fixes anything.

There's a difference between serious consideration and listening. The proposed Amare deal might have been the closest, although that was in his rookie year I think when Keith Smart was playing Acie Law over him. But by the time Ellis was traded to Milwaukee it was very apparent that Steph was the choice.
