It's part of the game anyway as they run commercials during it and when you're at the game, you wonder why the hell is this break so long? It would be a very abrupt change for football. For the NFL, not so much.I don't think it would slow it down too much. The controversial stuff usually stops play anyway and we can see it from 3 different angles almost immediately.
