That's the thing, right. These players absolutely deserved to get ripped to shreds.
Mou will be the one who pays for it, unfortunately.

Yeah if real life was FM.
Think the players need lessons in basic things like "First time passes 101" and "Running past the last man: Self-help for the terminally slow"
Makes Fergie's ability to get performances out of bottlers all the more impressive.
By Hitch Go To PostHe arrived this summer:lol
By Killer7 Go To PostGive Pep, Klopp and Conte this team and they'd also struggle.
Maybe he should have spend the United noodle sponsorship money more wisely, to fix the team then. Instead he got a bottling swede, a dabbing french milner, a right winger that anyone could guess from a mile away would flop as he got the spine of a rainworm, and a top kek meme defender.
In other words, he should have bought David Luiz.
If there's anything good to come out of the last three years, its that we have official noodle sponsors who are probably looking into cloning Fergie right now
Micky must be a lazy shit or just really not ready for the EPL to not be able to get a start ahead of some of these players.
Would love to see him in training.

Leave Bailly alone. What a lad he is. Gets Bungie fuming purely for being good.

Absolute sensational player.

By n8 dogg Go To PostWell, maybe. But we still spent eight trillion quid in the summer. If the squad isn't good enough, then whoever is in charge of recruitment - Woodward before, Mou this year - is to blame.Which is why I think he's overestimated the quality of these players.
Do not mind at all that Mou is going in on these players. Most/if not all the blame falls on the manager but these players need to be criticised. I wouldn't mind if he called some players up from the reserves tbh.
By Bold 2 in One Go To PostWhen the going gets tough, too many of our players clam up nuns at a rave
AKA away games. A Turkish stadium is the precisely the sort of place this lot will uncontrollably shit themselves.

Don't know what else is there to be done with 90% of these players other than bin them. And I'm sure as hell Kloppo's hugs wouldn't be doing any better to motivate them, but the "I always knew" hindsight speak is funny nonetheless. Especially from Arsenal fans who declare Mou died during his Real Madrid spell yet still came back and walked the league over them 2 years ago. Maybe Mou is really finished, but United has been shit for 3 seasons now and that's not on him. Not yet, anyways. Only a deep overhaul is going to fix that.
I'm not of the mind to shit on the man because he's very clearly a winner and knows how to manage. But he's really struggling to find players that will give their all for him like he had for the previous dozen years in four different countries. This is two clubs in successive years that are seemingly going through the motions and not playing up to their quality/wages. These post match comments are telling for his state of mind too.

Have a hard time trusting anyone less than you. But I did see the goal and it was good. Would be nice if he was good, as Denmark has basically no strikers other than Bendtner, that are of somewhat decent quality.
By FootballFan Go To PostThe lack of effort reminded me of man city last season under Manuel PellegriniCity started really well. They only really dropped off during the new year and not soon afterwards Pellegrini decided to let the club announce Pep was coming, so it was probably having an effect behind the scenes with the players already.
City really looks like they had a plan though, which is much different from United's "too big to fail" "we'll spend whatever it takes" approach. They made consistent, sensible changes starting with the backroom personnel, but it's undeniable they had a quality squad already.
By Wedward Go To PostIdk. I see people just placing all the blame on Rooney, Rojo and Fellaini.
United fans seem to like Zlatan, Mata, Martial, Morgan, Herrera, Shaw, Smalling, Darmian, Pogba, Rashford, DeGea, Bailly, Blind.
I mean of those players listed, which ones do you thing are not working hard enough?
Moyes is a shit manager and LVG is far past his prime so I would expect they wouldn't get as much respect. You would think Mou would be able to motivate these players. That is what he is known for. If he can't you guys need to take a serious look at recruitment.
bar De Gea, Bailly, Herrera and Mata I'd expect a higher standard of effort and desire than what we've seen so far. i don't question their skill. just the effort.
i think Pogba needs to compose himself (he's acted like a fucking baby on the field lately) but that's another story.
Rooney and Fellaini are deadweight no way around it. It's not about who you like vs who you don't like. i don't really for Blind but he's alright.
I don't think Rojo is that bad at CB especially for 4th choice. He should never ever ever play LB though
By Splatt Go To PostMind games only work if your team isn't shit in every competion.Oh fantastic.
He says something that's right and it's also mind games. Get that stick out of your ass and try to discern better when someone is criticizing his team or actually playing mind games.

Like in the Champions league, where they needed one goal and didn't even try to score

Yeah, but this is also a squad that hasn't given a fuck for three years. Think a lot of them think they're Billy Big Bollocks, I'm at United, I've made it.
Now, a lot of that is on our managers. Moyes' utter defeatism and prehistoric tactics. Van Gaal's dullard ball and confusing team selection. And now Mou's inability to find a best team as well as the wariness over his last year. And of course we have a lot of players that those guys bought - think there's 14 or 15 new players in the squad than when Fergie left.
But there's still Rooney and Carrick sniping from behind the scenes. Phil Jones still has a contract. Ashley Young is one of our poorest players quality wise and yet one of the only ones I'm happy to see on the pitch because he actually looks like he gives a fuck. Fellaini, troglodyte from pre-United Moyes days, is still playing regular football because we lack the bollocks to play anyone else.
It's a combination of mismanagement from top to bottom, club owners to execs to chairmen to managers to scouts and ultimately the players. Everyone is fucked.
Inter very very lucky to still have 11 men. Dunno how the ref has seen that and only given a yellow. Pussy.

That was infuriating.
Well this whole thing came out after a non existant penalty beeing called so think in the end it was fair the inter player didnt get sent off
By Killer7 Go To PostImagine Pep trying to get this current United team playing his football. He'd retire.
That's why there's a transfer window, where you can buy and replace players.
