The way it happened was some shit as well. Kid stepped on the back of my foot as I was trying to jump (and shoot) in the paint, my foot came halfway out the shoe and I immediately felt the strain. Looked at the ref and didn't even get a whistle. Had to take myself to the ER.
Spent 2 months on crutches, 6 weeks in 2 casts (including a 5 day trip to Vegas in 115 deg weather), and now entering my 7th week of physical therapy. Making good progress though, I'm back to light cardio and calf raises at least. Moving up to running by December with the Dr's okay.
I'm lowkey gonna go to a dozen Celtics game this year. Trying to get my little brother in town for the Spurs or Knicks game in November. The Warriors' Friday night game is dumb expensive.
