Would be irresponsible if they don't, hope sanity prevails
By DY_nasty Go To Postportland fans talking about player health... You're making less and less sense now
By pilonv1 Go To PostWould be irresponsible if they don't, hope sanity prevailsThe thing that sucks is when games get canceled like this, it usually ups the chance of another back-to-back for one of the teams playing and sometimes even the awful back-to-back-to-back. Happened last season, iirc. A game got canceled and one of those teams had to play 3 games in 3 nights.
By reilo Go To Post… You're making less and less sense nowhow you gonna say but but MKG when your team has been drafting players with known injuries for years and just paid a guy with an injury history on faith and hope alone?
like cmon lol. i wouldn't even speak about injuries in porltand without a hand on the bible first
I think that would work if Aminu can get back to being an average 3pt shooter like he was last season. Aminu's jumpshot is pretty trash though, but they could make up for it as a very good defensive swiss-army knife. Very long and mobile front, maybe a little undersized but those matchups matter less in today's NBA.
At this point.. you are playing him with Plumlee so his 3 pt shooting isn't that important.. I don't really see how "that might work" applies only to a Noel/Aminu frontcourt but not to your current frontcourt (when healthy)
By DY_nasty Go To Posthow you gonna say but but MKG when your team has been drafting players with known injuries for years and just paid a guy with an injury history on faith and hope alone?Because you were asking why even bother worrying about Portland acquiring an injury-riddled player like Noel. You should know why, MKG and Batum constantly hurt are your prime examples, damn.

I don't really see how "that might work" applies only to a Noel/Aminu frontcourt but not to your current frontcourt (when healthy)It works because Plumlee is a great ballhandler and distributor. Second on the team in assists at 4.7 a game. He works really well in Stotts system offensively like that. Plumlee above the freethrow line works really well because of those qualities of his, which allows Aminu to hide in the corner to attempt a three.
But if his jumper is shit? I am still not seeing how that is a solid lineup.. It's nice that he can pass but he doesn't do the basic things that you need from a center like rebounding and blocking shots.
Besides you could still get 20+ mins a game from him..

why would I not worry about Batum? because even injured he is one of the key reasons our offense isn't dead last in the league anymore.
noel, even injured, would probably stop your team from being dead last in the league on defense
I agree, which is why I said Portland would win that trade. Reminding you of this for the third time.
Noel's current knee issues are bullshit because he wants out. It was elective surgery and he could have waited. Dude is pissed off at all the tank juice
By livefromkyoto Go To PostI wish Vince was playing. Who knows if he gets another return to Toronto. One more chance to not give it his all in Tor!
By WWCHGT Go To Postah man that's super cool
For those that don't remember
By etiolation Go To Postknux
holy shit
With how Chicago has overachieved so far, the window to trade for Jimmy Butler is long gone. Dude should have taken that over the summer. Giving up young talent for Taj Gibson and Luol Deng is some dumb shit.
By DY_nasty Go To Postyou play javale mcgee. your time is comingStraight up Javale is better than Spencer Hawes.
By blackace Go To PostHe might be better than your starting center
Javale? We been saying to start him over Zaza.
By vic Go To PostWhy we're still in this game?
The Raptors are trash.
Trap game. Wait for the 3rd.

By masud Go To PostI fucking love Jennings, he can be our back up point forever.#DarkestTimeline
By reilo Go To Post#DarkestTimelineHey hes playing his ass off and I love his attitude. Not everybody can have Evan Turners coming off their bench.
Kp just ended Mohammeds life.
He's taking 6 shots a game I dont really care about his percentages. His D passing and energy have been great.
By reilo Go To PostI know, it's nice to have a guard that can break the 40% shooting barrier.
