By Kibner Go To PostThe one thing I can agree with 3SP on is that the triangle offense (or, at least, concepts from it) is and probably always will be useful in high level basketball.
The Knicks are  about both implementing and executing it, though.
To be fair, the stretch last year where they played incredibly well and won like 8 of 10 games they ran it really well. Then Melo twisted his ankle, the team started losing and went into a negative feedback loop and then fired fisher.
Phil could coach this knicks team using the Triangle to an ECF berth if everyone stays healthy though. I have little faith in Hornacek's X's and O's chops on either side of the ball. We'll see what happens.

The Knicks success relies on 3 (to 4) injury prone dudes to stay healthy, a bunch of Sixers tier players to be a good bench, other teams to fall off, and for Melo and Rose to mesh.
thats a lot

i thought he'd breakdown in february or something but he was in shambles right out the box
I am mad that our first national TV game in 3 years will be us getting hit with the big bang attack.
By 3SidedPolygons Go To PostY'all got so little faith in Phil da Gawd and PorzingodI don't think KP is good enough to carry a team for 90+ games nor do I have faith with the roster... If Phil had a better FO maybe he could right the ship as a coach
By pilonv1 Go To PostWhat has Phil done in the last 5 years to prove anyone should have faith in him?
Lmao you don't have faith in Phil the coach because dudes got injured and he was a mediocre GM? Lol.

Noah looked fine to me. Took charges, played solid D, got 6 boards in 20 mins. He wasn't the problem.
Last night's game was basically the coach not prepping the team and the cavs catching fire in the second half. That was horrible offensive execution and their defensive game plan was trash tier.
By DY_nasty Go To Postim not doing this in 2016 lolPhil Jackson is the Harrison Barnes of GMs
Dallas may not score 70 tonight
HB did get a ring tho

The worst part about acquiring the players they did is now people wont shut up about the Knicks all over again despite their prospects for this season still being doodoo.
By blackace Go To PostPhil Jackson is the Harrison Barnes of GMsthis actually works because hb has a gold medal. interesting.

By Omzz Go To PostBabbitt starting for the heatIs it weird that it makes me more fearful of a Trump presidency if Luke Babbitt and Sergio Rodriguez are starters in 2016? Is everything truly possible?
Times have changed
1. Is nba.com still doing a free week of league pass?
