By KingGondo Go To PostDisappointing loss. Gonna be that kind of season at times until we figure out our post-KD identity.
By reilo Go To PostBreaking news: this is your post-KD identity.you heartless savage.
By rodeoclown Go To PostAlthough Tyus out here proving me wrong when I said I didn't care if he got traded a couple weeks ago. He's been great since Thibs put him in the rotation. Hitting 3s at an average clip and the ball moves really well when he's out there. The Rodeo Cycle
Wolves game reminded me of one of those trap games during the Shaq/Kobe era where Antawn Jamison or Michael Redd or someone would score 50, and they'd lose to a team they had no business losing to.
Good performance though.

This dude out here talking about trap games for the Lakers lmao
Don't change Puddles, your trolling is highly entertaining.

I will just say, it's a god damn good thing Rubio makes like no money with all the extensions they're going to have to shell out between Wiggins, Towns and, yes, my favorite, Zach LaVine.

I remember those Antawn Jamison back to back 50 point games. Was all I had to live for in 2001
By pilonv1 Go To PostI remember those Antawn Jamison back to back 50 point games. Was all I had to live for in 2001Now I'm trying to think of the lowest point in my fandom.
I'm pretty sure it's anything related to the two years of Kurt Rambis. Pick a thing, anything from those two years that isn't Kevin Love and it was all just devastating in real time. So desperate for anything positive, I even considered for a second that Rubio coming over might make Magic Randolph playable.
By reilo Go To PostMudiay 1/12FG 👀and more turnovers than assists, again.
By S.igh Go To Postand more turnovers than assists, again. He's averaging 4.9 turnovers and 3.6 assists?! what the fuuuuuck
By rodeoclown Go To PostI'm not here to talk about the past.I hope Zach does not get extended, I need him to prove he can do more than be a good offensive player. I don't like shitty defensive players, may be because I'm used to watching the Grizzlies play down here but eh

CJ staring down fools after he hits a jumper in their face is my favorite thing omg, the disrespeck 😂

Zach extension just waiting for him to sign it. They aint letting him go.
By rodeoclown Go To PostNow I'm trying to think of the lowest point in my fandom.
2001 wasn't bad, Larry Hughes was around and Marc Jackson was a thing. The very late 90s Donyell Marshall/Jason Caffey era was probably the bottom. Even the 95/96 teams with Seikaly and scared Joe Smith still had Spree and Mully
By LionPride Go To PostI hope Zach does not get extended, I need him to prove he can do more than be a good offensive player. I don't like shitty defensive players, may be because I'm used to watching the Grizzlies play down here but ehLiterally everyone that isn't Rubio is bad at defense. It's the whole team. Towns is abominable in the pick and roll. Gorgui, too, plus he can't box out and doesn't have off ball awareness. Wiggins is constantly getting lost and has a hard time staying with his man. Just look at what he did against Reddick last night (don't, actually, he couldn't hang). Yeah, Zach is lousy, but laying the bad defense at his feet isn't fair.
They're so good on offense that the goal for this team shouldn't be hard nosed, gritty Jimmy Butler defenders, but get just enough stops. If Thibs can get them to be average on defense, they'll be really good.

I expect Wiggins and KAT to improve in that area in the next season or two, especially Wiggins as long as he does not start to have TMAC Syndrome of having to score so much that he just does not play defense for all four quarters. I doubt he'll fall into this though, especially if he is able to sick with KAT.

By reilo Go To PostDid any of you ever have a backcourt of Steve Blake, Juan Dixon and Sebastian Telfair? No? Okay. Are you forgetting that I basically ran the Telfair fan club for like four years? It was me, like two guys he went to high school with, his parents and Stephon Marbury. A tight bunch.

By pilonv1 Go To PostY'all never had it this badI've been a fan of the Timberwolves since I became a hardcore basketball fan, so since around 2012/13. I've also been a Cavaliers fan in that time, plus a Grizzlies fan since birth basically. I've seen some shit
By reilo Go To PostBut Steve Blake and Juan Dixon***** **** and Rashad McCants? I think Marko Jaric overlapped there, too?
At least ***** **** was tall enough to play in the league. Pretty sure Dixon, Telfair and Blake were all 6'2 and under. I don't think Telfair was even 6' tall.

By rodeoclown Go To PostYou merely adopted the dark. I was born in it.I'm 17, I willingly took on the Cavs and Timberwolves as well as the Lions as my main sport teams. I think I'm a masochist.
By reilo Go To PostAhem:
John Starks was the teams leading scorer at 13ppg shooting 37%. Juan Dixon was more efficient, think about that.
By rodeoclown Go To Post***** **** and Rashad McCants? I think Marko Jaric overlapped there, too?
i really thought mccants would make it. despite knowing he had no chance just due off how he acted in college. it was disappointing to see him prove everyone right.
By DY_nasty Go To Postyal know i want to jump in but the horncats always had decent guardsYou're not wrong

By domino Go To Posti really thought mccants would make it. despite knowing he had no chance just due off how he acted in college. it was disappointing to see him prove everyone right. He totally could've been a good sixth man type or 3 point specialist for years if he hadn't constantly complained about his role on the team. His third year, I thought he had kinda turned it around, but he came back next year and somehow fought with Kevin McHale, the most Minnesota Nice dude in the game, and found his way out of the league pretty quick. Always his own worst enemy.
