When I jog, my legs catch fire - how do I cure this?

Definitely make sure that you stretch fully before running and warm up with a brisk walk first. The trainers I've spoken with also recommend jogging at a slower pace as it's the amount of time you spend running not the speed that gets you the cardiovascular workout.
Stay really well hydrated as well and give your body time to recover after a long run prior to going out there again.

Google-fu found me the cure I've been needing all my life. For the longest I thought that it was diet founded, possibly due to not exercising for extended periods then hopping back into a heavy regiment. When I ran last week, I finally found this to be bullshit at the core because I was in DOPE shape and my diet hasn't been better.
Antihistamines. That's what solved the problem. Urticaria was my problem. Typically only shows up when hitting the pavement for an excessive duration (a typical 2 mile run in my case).
Pound some Zyrtek and Claritin leading up to the event and I've had the easiest runs of my life.

People with exercise urticaria (EU) experience hives, itchiness, shortness of breath and low blood pressure five to 30 minutes after beginning exercise. These symptoms can progress to shock and even sudden death. Jogging is the most common exercise to cause EU…
Dude...
That's like EXTREME cases - or people with that determination to fight through the urge to scrape the skin off of their legs. I'm real, but I can't even imagine pushing through that kind of pain once it kicks up.
Also, if you have it really bad, the antihistamines wouldn't even work.
Or h3ro/adam can come through and yell at me (again) (shout out to adam for letting me that know people actually DO die from internal bleeding)

I think we are all glad you decided to play basketball instead of football. But then you started talking about wanting to go Airborne the other day...

... Thats probably me.
But yeah, i'd go hit up a real doctor or, preferably, a sports doctor and get it seen too properly. Cause.. the longer you leave it the harder it will be to treat properly.
