By etiolation Go To PostGood news: Jrue Holiday's wife had successful brain surgeryI heard that earlier from Bleacher Report but they didn't have a solid source so I don't quite believe it, yet.

Yes!!
Confused why they kept Ndour though?
By AlphaSnacks Go To PostYes!!All of our bigs besides kp are the big plodding type (Plumlee made the cut too) they must have wanted a different kind of big. It certainly wasnt because of how he played in preseason. Maybe he's tearing up practice or something, the boy has a j apparently, he just hasn't shown it on TV yet.

Q:

Q:
What other teams were interested in you? Jennings: “Actually I didn’t get any offers from any other team but New York. A lot was because of my Achilles, nobody knew how healthy I was and things like that. I definitely put in the time this summer, lost a lot of weight. I made sure I was ready. When Phil (Jackson) called, I was like ‘Yo, I’m coming.’ It was a no-brainer … Shoot, I would have come here for a million. It didn’t matter. I just wanted to be in an NBA uniform and be somewhere where I had a chance to win, and New York City — why not?” Q: Do you feel like you have something to prove? Jennings: “I definitely do. It was 29 teams that didn’t want me so I definitely have a chip on my shoulder, and I definitely want to prove to everybody that I’m back and I’m healthy and I’m just a team player.”
That’s right. Phil called, Brandon said, “Yo, I’m coming,” and the Knicks bid against themselves to sign a player who would have taken the $1.3 million veteran minimum to a one-year, $5 million contract.
This Ringer article is savage.
This is fine. Everything is fine. Rookie of the Year.
The 46.7 percent of NBA general managers who predict Dunn will win Rookie of the Year must’ve made their choice before the preseason. You’d hope. Through six exhibition games, the rookie point guard has more turnovers (15) than he does made field goals (9); he shot 1-of-9 from beyond the arc, and just 8-for-35 from 2-point range. Dunn’s shot chart is the Red Wedding.
Yet it’s Dunn’s approach that’s most disturbing, not the blood-drenched court. The problems that plagued him at Providence — decision-making and shot selection — have carried over to the pros.
It’s difficult to see how Dunn can be trusted to run an offense when he still frequently commits the kind of preventable mistakes made by high school point guards.

Bid against themselves? Hes getting paid peanuts. I'm so sad that we couldn't sign Jennings to the vet min so wed have a chance to cut one of our young guys to sign some scrub for 3 mil...

Christ, Plumlee sucks though. He's always in the right spots, but he can't fucking make a layup.
I'll be honest, I'm genuinely happy that the team closed off the pre-season on a high note and were 4-2. The last two pre-seasons the Knicks were garbage and mediocre and it translated to garbage and mediocre seasons. Many teams have a correlation between good pre-seasons and good seasons, so I'm hoping this is just an indicator of something to come.
Ron Baker ain't thinking too much. This shit easy to Ron Baker…
Idk if you remember, but I literally said the same thing pages back. He gives no fucks when he plays. He looks like a vet out there sometimes. He's surprisingly composed, and I really do like his shooting a lot. Also love his no look passes. Must be dat college age experience.
By diehard Go To PostBah we tried to trade to draft him too. Prob could have done it if not for that stupid coin flip and stupid golden state tankersHe dropped his album last night and he has this line only a Jazz fan can appreciate: "growing up I wanted to ball for Jerry Sloan"
I'm stunned Baker made the team, obviously Knicks feel his D isn't too bad and his shooting is good enough. I will say I love his energy level and his attitude, guy does all the little things and doesn't seem to be intimidated out there. Oddly enough I heard Knicks will look to play him at both guard spots... dude doesn't seem like a PG at all to me.

Get the fucking fuck outta here. No. Just no. NBA needs to put the kibosh on that right now...

In fairness, that kinda does make sense for Toronto, I feel Powell is a better all around guy than Ross and even most Toronto fans are tired of Ross.

Embiid should have dropped this one off, but kind of cool to see a 7'2", 270 pound guy go coast to coast.
