By etiolation Go To PostWhy would the heat trade for Gay while they're trying to develop Winslow this year? Even on a year rental, it doesn't make sense.
Gay is in the last year of his deal and Dragic still has a few left IIRC
By pilonv1 Go To PostGay is in the last year of his deal and Dragic still has a few left IIRCYeah that's a Riley cap move if it happens. Gay can play the 4 as well...
Assuming Bosh is off the books next offseason and if they get a good pick (not sure if they have a 1st or not next season) They would have major money to toss at players
Gay at the 4 at the NBA level doesn't work as well as people think. I would agree with the salary dump view of the move. I just think it will still conflict with Justise.
It wouldn't be about it working at the NBA level.. It wouldn't be a move to make a winning team.. If you wanted to do that you wouldn't trade for Gay at all..
My point isn't about winning. It's about Justise's development and chemistry. You're figuring Gay will be okay with playing PF every night. As much as a Pro that Rudy can be, I am not sure how long he will be down with that.
he would basically play a Bosh 4... he wouldn't really be down on the block that much..
btw Spurs denying trade rumors..
btw Spurs denying trade rumors..
read that too... they followed that by saying Riley wants to see what he has with this group so if it does happen Dec/Jan would be the timeframe
Aaron Bruski, the guy that put out the news that the Kings may stay, is saying Hansen is buying up Seattle land (for Arena I presume) in a push for expansion before the next CBA is signed.
By vire Go To PostIs this not on tv Psy?should be
This is a real sloppy game from both teams, but the Pels are getting their butts kicked. Doesn't help that they are down five rotation players, but still.
By masud Go To PostFuck expansion, talent pool is already spread thin enough.
The point of expansion is to go develop and create the talent pool bigger and deeper...
So that teams don't have to rely on dudes like Kyle Singler every night. Or Anderson Verejao. Your comment suggests that the pool for dudes like Shabazz Napier and Norris Cole is a lucrative market for lower end players when those dudes belong in the D League as much as dudes already in it.
Fuck expansion, talent pool is already spread thin enough.
Not really. A lot of the superstar talent is just on the same teams.. But overall there is still plenty of talent around

There's also a bunch of guys in Europe/China and the D-League who could be lower end roster players.
Sooner they add Seattle back the better, just for the games against OKC
If they keep Lawson, the Kings do have a solid bench. Casspi, WCS, Tolliver, Barnes, Temple, McLemore and maybe a half decent rook.

I would guess that there are a handful of guys like Whiteside / Lin out there as well...

Kevins the guy who wants to breakup but waits to find a reason so its not his fault, even though it totally is
We constantly got vets, but I guess they weren't the right vets in Kevin's opinion. We constantly traded for/drafted good young prospects.
Revisionist history intended to obscure the fact that KD left for a team that he couldn't close out with a 3-1 lead.
I would respect him so much more if he would just come out and say "look, I was tired of OKC and ready for a change of scenery. Nothing against them but the chance to play with the Warriors was too good to pass up."
He also doubled down on the statement that he wouldn't have joined GSW if they had won game 7. Weak shit.
