By Ciaran Go To PostI'm not particularity fond of zombie flicks either way. Except Shaun of the Dead, of course.Mostly trash, but there are a few good ones in between.
Also christ I really I take back that statement about it being Preferring to loose every week than the emotional rollercoaster, id take the the rollercoaster any day of the week. I can't even make fun of Sunderland because it seems so cruel.
Lol@ the rodwell/curiosity loosing streak comment.
At what point do you as a manager stop ignoring useless superstitious stats and start thinking "they may be on to something" lol

By Francis Go To PostVideos like this, and it's Mafia 2 equivalent, are so stupid. Literally none of the features shown in that video had any effect on why the original Mafia was a great game. Most of those things would be neat - though some people complained about having cops pull you over for speeding and stuff - but really not influence your experience in any major way.
Why can't they just make an authentic HD remake of the first game? The greatest PC title (PS2/XBOX version doesn't count) of all time.

By Francis Go To PostFenerbahçe haven't lost at home since the 11th of September and have climbed from 9th to 5th in the Süper Lig.September 11th was like 2 weeks ago.
Van Persie scored two & assisted one earlier today.
What a time to face them in Istanbul on Thursday. Atmospheric.
They've probably played like 3 home games since then

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter are ready to go all-out in order to secure the services of Verratti, offering up to €65m in the January transfer window. This comes after reports in Le Parisien stated that the player's agent met with Inter officials last week.
The deal may see Marcelo Brozovic and Geoffrey Kondogbia head in the other direction, which could interest the Parisian outfit due to the fact that both would still be eligible to play in the Champions League this term.
There's something beautiful about sliding behind an enemy and blasting him in the face with a shotgun in Titanfall 2.

edit: Zabo, explain in Shanks fashion why do you hate the IDEA of Verratti (convince me so I can let go too)
Antonio Rudiger risked a recurrence of his knee injury in his luxury supercar last Friday, according to reports.
The German international had been out for five months following an anterior cruciate ligament injury and almost risked his comeback by twisting his knee when getting out of his Lamborghini.
Arriving at Roma’s Villa Stuart clinic to visit Alessandro Florenzi – who is also being treated for a cruciate ligament injury – the defender twisted his knee awkwardly when getting out of the supercar which has an extremely low opening.

Huh.
Well.

Nice to see Mourinho promoting players from the U23s.
By Vivalapizza Go To PostDid we ever find out why he was black listed in the first place?
He was identified as a surplus to the squad. Think Mou is having to reassess his original conclusions about which players are the ones he can count on.

he is back
Oh my god. This is the high point of any game I played in FM. Went hard on Mancini in the pre game interview. The result?

Because it's fun for many reasons and the ultimate game for only paying half attention to/doing other things while playing.
FM is easily one of my favorite franchises of all time.

Schweinsteiger back in training?
Hopefully with a view to giving him enough time to prove his fitness so we can sell him in January. Useless sack of shit.

I should probably buy FM 17 one of these days. So many games in November: Dishonored 2, Pokemon Sun/Moon, Final Fantasy XV...

Shit, didn't realise MW:R is coming out this week too. Splitting my time between that and Titanfall 2 will be tough.
By Ciaran Go To Postedit: Zabo, explain in Shanks fashion why do you hate the IDEA of Verratti (convince me so I can let go too)It's the opposite, actually. I love the IDEA of Verratti, it's just that I don't rate the player I sometimes get the chance to 'admire' playing for PSG and Italy. Is he talented? Yes. Is he flashy? Very. Makes for a great YouTube player. When all is said and done however, he's not nearly as good as the absurd hype (coming from italian journos and pundits especially) surrounding him.
First of all and contrary to what a substantial portion of (Juve) fans think, he's not a regista. He doesn't play as one at PSG, he never did. Not even with Zeman, where he was basically playing behind the two strikers. He's a mezzala. Good thing too, because he's absolutely shit at defending. Like, shit shit. Not that a mezzala / CM can afford to be shit at defending, but you can generally get away with a little more playing there. As a regista playing in front of the defense, every major error can be turned into a scoring opportunity for the opposition.
He's 167cm / 61kg. To be a world class player with those body specs, you need to be great at both phases of the game (or exceptional at one). He's a mere 7 going forward - technical, rapid (not particularly fast), with a good eye for assists, if somewhat limited by being extremely one-footed, his tendency of disappearing for large chunks of the game and by being prone to making stupid passing mistakes. Defending ... forget about it. He's terrible at positioning. Has no positional awareness at all, like. Which coupled with his Inter-tier tackling means he's a yellow / red card machine. A running time bomb. I'd legit rather have Hernanes playing as regista than Verratti. And let's not even go into how injury-prone he is. Worst of all, he hasn't improved in 4 years, not really. He's still Pescara's Verratti.
He's a good player, not a great one. Props to his agent.
He's a midfield Giovinco, basically.
Conte for Premier League manager of the month October 2016?
