He was great on that defensive possession. I just wished he focussed on that more than anything else.

He thought he had to become something else once Parsons left. It backfired. I really think that Parsons shit got in his head and he figured he had to become a scorer.

3rd scoring option last season was between Parsons and Jones. Jones has been out, and Howard's been out. Ariza's streaky. I kinda get that, and he's in a contract year, but when he aimlessly dribbles around and can't finish at the rim, I don't see how that increases his value.

I don't watch the East, so I got to admit, after the trade deadline passed, I was pretty underwhelmed with what Morey did. Another wing, who wouldn't get in time ahead of Ariza/Brewer/Papanikolaou, and a 37-year old from the worst team in the NBA. At his age, I just couldn't see how he'd be able to challenge Beverley for starting minutes, but he's definitely lifted our bench.

I've seen Beverley run out on the break countless times and I don't think I can recall a time where he's had the vision, willingness and capability to make a pass anywhere as good as this.

TO Ratio: 17.0 (27th)
AST%: 59.2 (11th)

That last one surprised me to be honest, but even statistically it's been clear that this team has needed a secondary playmaker. Rockets fans have been calling out for a secondary playmaker and Morey has traded for two guards this season.

So advanced stats do tell you that you need more than one competent ballhandler, my team's fans have repeatedly made posts lamenting our playmaking situation, and our management have made multiple moves this season to try and improve in that area. So what exactly is your point?

Also, if you actually bothered to respond to that other post, I will get back to it. I just honestly haven't had the time to write something that long again.
