im torn on this.
on one hand i do think he needs to cover the #1 guy everywhere just to justify that check.
on the other hand your scheme cant be guided by the payroll. he just isnt an everywhere shutdown corner. position him and your defense for maximum success.
on balance i'd tip towards the latter on a given day but it's kind of a 45/55 thing with me.

Shockingly, it's Dennis Pitta who's re-emerged as a solid option for Flacco. And Mike Wallace has played much better than expected. Ravens quietly have a number of decent options in the passing game at WR and TE. No real stars but solid contributors.
But the league is so pass happy and defenders are so heavily penalized that 8 TDs is not out of reach when defenses will be keying in on other players.

For those who remember the old Nicks/Cruz/Manningham Giants trio 4-5 years ago Manningham would grab around 5 catches a game; however Giants had a better TE and running game then.
