WTF he's kicking?
Ok I'm officially upgrading this MIA/BUF game to a Tie Watch. I repeat, a Tie Watch is in effect.
EDIT: LOL nvm, Ajayi 57 yard run.

By GQman2121 Go To PostBills defense failing Tyrod. This is a disgrace. This is why I didn't get the 3rd and 3 call; the D hasn't really stopped anyone today, you can't do a bootleg and get Tyrod in space 3rd/4th and short?
Marcus Mariota has a fractured right fibula/ankle and is done for the season.Fuck that sucks...
The Titans' season is over following Sunday's blowout loss to Jacksonville, and Matt Cassel will take them home in Week 17 against the Texans. Although Mariota finished poorly, he took an expected step forward as a second-year quarterback and has an extremely bright future. Although Mariota seems likely to miss OTAs, we suspect he'll be ready for 2017 training camp.
This is great. This is wonderful. 🙃
In other news, is Cousins a franchise QB now? I thought for sure he'd stink it up this year

Nothing more satisfying than watching Rex Ryans fat hands not be able to call a TO in time, then a former Phins kicker miss an OT FG after trying to size up the smallest player on our team who just ripped a 47 yd kick return on him and then kicking Rex and Rob Ryans career into the toilet with an OT winner.
Cousins is a franchise QB. But as we know that is an increasingly low bar now more than ever.
Back to back winning seasons where he's thrown for 4k yards is better than most of the league can ask for. Is he dynamic and able to win games on his own? No.

I really don't think Cousins is anything special, he's cut down on the horrible play and mistakes but to me he's a mobile game manager with benefits.
Whew my pops was legit on the verge of tears watching Carr get carried off. Man been waiting 15 years for the Raiders to be good again, always talking shit no matter how bad they were.
So I gotta sweat my fantasy semis out until Monday night. If I win this I at least get my $25 entry back. If I win the finals I get $275.
Up 66 pts with my opponent having Dak, Leveon and Dan Bailey.

By RATHasReturned Go To PostBroken right fibula for CarrRaiders season over. Effing shame, I thought they might be a team that could give the Pats issues.
Just get rid of helmets. These wack ass flags for roughing are literally killing the sport. Take the flags off the ground and put them on the players already. It's really sad.
I can't believe I missed Pittsburgh/Baltimore. Fantastic game I hear, may have to watch it on replay.
whew Detroit's defense folded like a wet paper bag on me. Dak & Bailey (and Leveon yesterday) nuked me.
they fired the ryans now instead of year's end because Rex was going to play Tyrod Taylor this weekend, and the Bills didn't want to risk him getting hurt because if he did, they would owe him close to 30 million in guarantees and the Bills want to cut his ass and move on. Tyrod Taylor went from dynamic to garbage on the curb in less than a year, wow.

he actually improved from last year. I don't think the bills should move on until they for sure have someone competent on the roster, because Manuel and Jones are definitely not better than him.
Tyrod should try and play one of the other skilled positions that's better suited for his shucking and jiving style of play.
Never mind that only Arizona, New Orleans, New England and Carolina's offenses have had more TDs than than the Bills over the last two seasons while Tyrod was under center. No, that shouldn't matter at all. Starting quarterbacks at this level with that kind of production in their first two seasons as a full time starter are easy to find.
The Bills are an original club and should hold on to their original values. Someone wholesome like that Jay Cutler or even Mike Glennon should be the face of their franchise. You know, tall in the pocket with "intangibles" and a "big arm".

what's the actual issue with tyrod. the 30 milly or they just dont think he's good? cause if its the 30 milly i can understand it. i think...
i haven't actually seen him play so i can't go one way or the other. the stats look very good in his favor but stats aren't everything.
i don't understand how the NFLPA allows there to be this kind of business environment that these kinds of things can happen over contract fuckery. total joke of an organization.

You know, it could be very possible that the Bills simply don't want to guarantee 30 million dollars to a guy they aren't sure will be a top 15 QB or not. Tyrod has done an OK job overall but the Bills with him under center have finished in the bottom 5 in passing offense both years. They are scoring because of their ground game.
Also, it could very well be that the Bills do want to keep him around, just not on the terms of the extension he signed. A reworked deal is also possible. They just don't want the possibility of him getting hurt (which would automatically activate the 30 mil in gurantees if he can't pass a physical in March)
Not everything is racist. If Bills ownership and the front office cared so much about having a white QB, then they wouldn't have 3 black QBs on the roster.
They're losers. And they'll stay losers so long as they're not fielding the best players on their roster.
They're clearly dumping Tyrod and will draft or sign someone in free agency. If he had any future at all there that clause wouldn't matter.
The bar for black quarterbacks is so high that if you're not taken in the top five picks and have serious money tied into your contract you better win the Super Bowl in your first four seasons or you're done. That Brock money isn't happening.

Oh my goodness.
Ok, ask yourself this. Would YOU pay Tyrod Taylor 30 million dollars for ONE season if he were on YOUR favorite team? I sure as fuck wouldn't.
Here's his contract
Pay attention specifically to this part:
he makes 12mil base, 15.5 option, plus 3.25 million of his 2018 salary GUARANTEED if he's even on the roster as of 3/11. This is for 2017 only. And if he's injured and can't pass a physical by that date, he automatically gets it.
Again if the Bills were all racist Trumpster Divers they wouldn't have a black #1 qb, a black #2 QB, and a black #3 qb. Not a single white QB on the roster of this supposed racist franchise. I don't think people care about race when they are trying to win football games.
Fact is Tyrod Taylor has played ok, but is not a top 10, 15, and him being a top 20 QB is debateable. He finishes in the bottom half of nearly all passing metrics.
This has everything to do with the amount of money owed to and not the skin color of the QB. 30 million dollars is a lot to risk for 1 meaningless football game.

There's a clause in the ill-advised contract extension the team gave Taylor in the summer that states if Taylor suffers an injury in 2016, and is still injured in March when the Bills have to decide whether to pick up an option that guarantees him $27.5 million in salary and bonus in 2017, Taylor would receive all of that money whether he's on the team or not. And all of it would count against their 2017 salary cap.
I'm not saying the Bills specifically are racist or that this benching has anything to do with Tyrod being black.
I am saying that the fact he's black, a sixth round pick and is obviously being cut is because he's not 6-4", white and a former first day draft pick who was hyped by pundits prior to going pro.
Who are they going to replace him with that is going to give them comparable production in the air and on the ground? They don't even know yet, but he's not on their roster.
And as a supporter of the club that initially drafted Tyrod, I can tell you his production over the last two years is not only comparable to Joe Flacco, it's better. I'll let you look up Joe's guaranteed contract money.

Joe Flacco's contract was a HUGE mistake.
Tyrod Taylor's is just a mistake.
The Bills don't have anyone that will give them comparable production to Tyrod, that's true. But the cost of what he does give you is going to be 30 million for just next season. The Bills would rather use that money elsewhere, and go with one of their lesser and cheaper options at QB. They aren't going to be winning shit next year anyways, why pay a (just) decent QB elite money if you don't have to? I would do the same.

Good point Enron. I didn't realize they have 3 black QB's.
