I like how the Vikings played a whole football game with a dude hanging from the rafters and didn't even think of delaying the game or anything
By DY_nasty Go To PostKirk has to be done now right?Cousins? No way.
17-14-1 record over the last two seasons
8,800 passing yds
63 TDs 23 Ints
They're not going to find that kind of production off the street or in the draft. They probably are trying to sign him to a long term deal but aren't willing to cough up that guaranteed $50m that Houston gave Brock. But that's what it's now going to take anyway because if they franchise him again he qualifies for nearly $25m for next year alone. He will have offers if he's not tagged.
Ugh. What a shitty spot to be in.
And Chip's officially gone. Wonder what college throws the house at him....

What a weird season.
The Seahawks finish the season with 10 or more wins for the fifth season in a row - when we've only had 5 10+ win seasons IN HISTORY before 2012 - and have made the playoffs. We had some really good, strong wins this season, with the biggest being the road victory against the Patriots. And we have a strong group of key players on both sides of the ball.
And yet, we are going into the postseason as the most suspect team in the 12-team tournament. In the course of a month, we went from the #2 seed, to as low as the #4 seed, before settling on the #3 seed. We got smacked by the Packers. On three separate occasions, we failed to take advantage of weak opposing defenses (Bucs, Saints, Packers). Our offensive line makes even the weakest defensive lines in football look competent, due to the fact that not a single lineman we've drafted or signed outside of Justin Britt actually played on the o-line in college. Because of that (and injuries), we can't run the ball for shit anymore. Also because of that (and injuries), Russell Wilson put up his worst season on record. We've been decimated by injuries, especially on defense, with Earl Thomas being lost for the season and potentially longer. And because he's gone, our pass defense has turned awful. And the most sure thing on our team the last few seasons - our special teams - has been atrocious since the moment the season began, because Pete thought it would be okay to skimp pennies on a competent long snapper.
I don't know how to feel about this squad.

Talib isn't soft by any means and I do believe he'd snatch Crabtree's chain in front of the police. But still thats a bitch move to do in the game.
You guys realize we were a Derek Carr injury away from the road to the AFC running through Oakland? I hate how unfair life can be... Raiders were legit Superbowl contenders, now they will go 1 and done.
Also, I hate Kirk but he has all the leverage. Washington has no backup at all.

49ers fired HC Chip Kelly.Absolute basura, you don't fire a coach after 1 year with the worst roster in football. I think Kelly's a fraud but it makes no sense.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Saturday that the 49ers were likely to fire both Kelly and GM Trent Baalke and now they've done just that. Kelly didn't have much to work with in San Francisco but two wins over the lowly Rams wasn't enough to keep him employed. The 49ers struggled on both sides of the ball under Kelly and featured one of the worst run defenses of all-time. After failed stints in Philadelphia and San Francisco, it's safe to say Kelly won't be getting another head coaching job in the NFL anytime soon. The Niners have fired their head coach in three straight seasons beginning with Jim Harbaugh at the end of 2014. Pushing Harbaugh out was their first mistake.
By The Frankman Go To PostAbsolute basura, you don't fire a coach after 1 year with the worst roster in football. I think Kelly's a fraud but it makes no sense. The best way to start clean is to get rid of GM and coach, even though Chip got 1 year, they were canning their GM. Then you gotta find a GM that wants to work with Chip Kelly, cause you sure as fuck aint giving it to Chip again.
EDIT: And if Balke(sp?) was the one that hired Chip it makes total sense.
Kirk Cousins may not be an elite franchise QB but I think you have to say he's at least pretty good - top 10 in nearly every passing category. Skins will pay him.
i can't believe i forgot we have all these Rams picks. we ended up w/ the 5th and 18th picks in the first round.
