Our QB Rudolph and our best WR Washington announced that they'll be back next season.
Our offense is going to be absolutely loaded.

Had to share this. Could only nod in agreement when I read it.
Edit: Minny has ten players suspended and Wazzu can't do anything. Mailed in is being kind.
Dana Holgorsen got that McElwain syndrome. Nothing better than see a coach freak the fuck out and act like a child when his team is getting worked.
i didnt realize wvu has will grier from florida. he's gonna put up numbers there.
i thought this was neat too, u suppose it's not a normal thing.

Of Alabama’s 24 current committed recruits for 2017, almost half are rated in the top five at their position by top scouting services. Five of them are ranked No. 1, including a tall, lanky kid from Washington State named Thomas Fletcher, who just graduated from the famed IMG Academy here and is — wait for it — a long snapper.
Fletcher will become the second long snapper in Alabama history to be awarded a full scholarship out of high school. The first, Cole Mazza, who will graduate this year, was also the No. 1-rated snapper when Coach Nick Saban offered him an Alabama scholarship in 2012.
Put another way: Alabama’s focus on the littlest details of the game even stretches to the point that, in addition to craving the highest-rated recruits at quarterback, linebacker and running back, Saban has to have the best at a position that might be on the field for only seven or eight plays a game.
After hiring Kendall Briles, Kiffin leaves the door open for Art Briles to have role in his program -
Though Chun said unequivocally that the elder Briles is not part of the FAU staff, Kiffin would say only that “we have a plan with that, and we’ll discuss that when we get down there.”
…
“My plan is not in place to please the media,” Kiffin said. “My plan is still in place to do the best thing for our players and the people that hired me.”
Sprinkle attempted to shoplift items at the Belk department store at the SouthPark Mall in Charlotte on Tuesday, putting eight items into his bag after the team’s shopping spree had finished. Police arrived after a call was made and cited him for unlawful concealment and released him.
The balls on this kid. I love it.
Yeah, I feel like refs should err on the side of protecting the player. Oh well though.
Just want to get out of this without any major injuries. Looking likely to start in the top 10 next season.

By domino Go To Postsome team is gonna draft my boy Trubisky first round 😂And Buffalo ain't trying to pay Tyrod to stay on. These GM's don't know shit. Not that scouting a QB isn't a half luck crapshoot in the dark anyway but come on with this Trubisky first overall talk.
wow how do you miss a line assignment on the most important play of the game
on their best fucking DLineman who been in our ass all day.

Historical oddities do linger. Stadium rituals include fans “war-chanting” and using arms for “tomahawk-chopping.” “We also understand that some of it is for show, such as the horse, Renegade, and the flaming spear, and we are okay with it,” Gopher said. Around town, Native American iconography still appears on some local businesses such as vacuum repair. A restaurant at the edge of campus goes by the name Tomahawk’s, which baffled some scholars visiting Florida State for a conference.
…
That contrasts with the more populous Seminole Nation of Oklahoma, which in October 2013 officially resolved that it “condemns the use of all American Indian sports-team mascots in the public school system, by college and university level and by professional sports teams.” In a document signed by Leonard M. Harjo, the Principal Chief of the Nation, it stated that academic research shows that the mascots and images harm “all children” and “violate religious icons.” Seminole Tribe of Florida members tend to shrug off that as the view of a relative who visits and then takes his views back home.
idk what to tell you then. i've never heard of the seminole tribe of florida having an issue with it.
they have a close working relationship with the university.
they've had input on the design.
stark contrast to the washington football team's situation. and the schools that had change their imagery.
i can agree w/ the overall concept of what you're saying. but i think this is a great arrangement that's beneficial for both sides

Trubisky is only in the top 2 qbs for the draft SO FAR....just wait till the combine. These QB orders are bound to change.

Also, the FL tribe dismissing the Oklahoma Seminole Tribe's stance is sad.

Great article. I also remember watching some white SJW on Outside the Lines many years ago get ironically red in the face when he brought up the tomahawk chop as racist. The Seminole Chief replied, "The tomahawk chop is the nation's sanctioned symbol for first down."
I actually laughed out loud.
By KingGondo Go To PostUsing "SJW" unironically: immediate placement on ignore list.
Ironic response for giving a fuck when it wasn't your turn to give a fuck.
I tried to find a video clip, but this corroborative blog post will do:
Obviously OTL was thinking the same thing I was. For their next segment, they brought on a representative for the Seminole tribe in Florida, as well as some contradictory liberal jackass that should spend more time worrying about his own life than other peoples'. The Seminole man mentioned that the seminole tribe loves working with Florida State and that the university does a great job on teaching students about the history of the Seminole tribe, he even teaches Seminole history classes on the campus. Mr. Liberal rebuttles by saying that the name is derogatory and that the Florida State fans do the "Tomahawk Chop" whenever FSU gets a first down and the Tomahawk wasn't even a weapon the Seminoles used. So, according to Mr. Liberal, the FSU staff is not doing a good job at teaching Seminole history. The Seminole man smiled and had a bit of a sparkle in his eye before he responded, and God bless him for saying this, that first of all, the Tomahawk Chop, as seen here, is the national symbol for a first down and that this is just another case of a white man thinking he knows what's best for a Native American Tribe.
Glad to know at least one other person saw that episode.

Hope Washington keep it interesting.
Ohio State game could go either way. Our offense can look absolutely atrocious and still win games but I have no confidence in it any more.

By diehard Go To Postwe might have gotten the worst heisman winner/race in a long time
Would have been the perfect season to award an exclusively DEFENSIVE player.

I hate that these games are on ESPN. ABC is so cruddy for that. There's zero reason outside of greed that the playoff games shouldn't be on free TV like the National Title.
I think the most demoralizing thing in football is watching an opposing team identify one glaring weakness, and just expose the pure fuck out of it numerous times, like Nunes did to Ronda last night.
The commentary mentioned the Huskies have a hole in their right guard area, and that's the area Bama went after every single time - The A & B gaps. #56 was on his ass virtually every play, even when he had help.
I've seen the same thing happen to the Seahawks in every loss this season as well, except with them, it's the B, C & D gaps.
The Huskies defense put up the effort of a lifetime, but you can't defend for 60 minutes if you're not getting any help with scoring, field position, or time of possession.

You're also competing against a 4-deep of 4* and 5* talent that is incredibly well-coached.
To beat Bama nowadays you have to be pretty talented, play great and get a bit lucky.

God what a weak throw and catch for the INT...
