The worst part is how little losses like this bother me anymore. Even the catastrophic late mistakes like last year's TCU tip, this year's Texas wide open receivers, or this giving it away on a shanked extra point.
Need to go undefeated the rest of the way to make a bowl but that's not too tall of an order; Have ISU and BU left. ISU is ISU and BU is in complete disarray. We can certainly lose both, of course, but you have to like your chances.
Could very realistically get in with just 5 wins, of course, as KSU would have done it last year with just 5 but they happened to win a 6th anyway.

By LionPride Go To PostI'd just like to mention that this woman boiled a pot of water. She didn't have any on tap, she boiled it then threw it, then fought his ass. She cray
She's not cray. She's pregnant.
Yay, Clemson lost!
By KingGondo Go To PostI've been spoiled by all of these close wins. It's gonna sting when the law of averages kicks in.You could say that all these close wins are regression to the mean from the CMU screw job.
By cashman Go To PostYou could say that all these close wins are regression to the mean from the CMU screw job.We might be in position for the playoff without that game.
That said, I want absolutely no part of Bama or Michigan.
By KingGondo Go To PostHAHA FUCK YOU DABOX 2
By KingGondo Go To PostWow. Crazy day. #2, #3 and #4 all go down.
Don't forget Auburn, Texas A&M, and Va Tech.
By Phoenix RISING Go To PostDon't forget Auburn, Texas A&M, and Va Tech.OSU's inevitable rise to the playoff begins.
Saban better get ready cause Gundy is coming to avenge 2011.
I would rather play a soft team in a bowl than make the playoff

The good (or bad, in your opinion :jnc) thing about the playoff committee is that you could be in position for the playoff WITH that game, realistically. Could just decide to throw it out completely if they wanted to. You guys going undefeated should make you the top 2 loss team, which would put you at about #7 in the current rankings with room to move up if somebody ahead of you drops a 2nd.
That said, WVU still has the best chance to get in from the Big XII IMO and they still need a LOT of help to make the playoff. Currently #16 and 3rd highest in the conference but a win over OU this weekend should jump them over both Oklahoma schools.
Our odds of winning out aren't great anyways. @TCU feels like a toss up and I give us about a 30% chance of winning in Norman.
Although this is rounding into one of my favorite OSU teams ever. Especially the offense. Amazing WR corps, Rudolph's strength and poise in the pocket is incredible, and finally a nasty run game again. Hill is so fun to watch and Carson is the thunder to his lightning.
And hey, Mason has already won in Norman before. Why not again this year?

Bama isn't even as good as the teams in year's past, yet they are still better than everyone in the NCAA.
Based Saban.

Looks like that OL I mentioned that didn't make the trip to Stillwater, Justin Murphy, may be retiring from football completely due to constant injury. Just a sophomore but already one of the leaders on the OL.
If I believed in curses I would be absolutely sure our OL has been hit with one.

By domino Go To Postayo somebody gotta help Gundy out w/ that situation on the back of his neck lol. It's been a thing all year, and it's clearly a lucky charm.**
*Except for that CMU game
**and the Baylor game
What could have been :(
I'm sorry but that stretch in the middle where the Ls came from was horrible in terms of games in days. I think the team was really fatigued and that brought on a lot of injuries, and our bye was really late in the season. We've beaten two top 5 teams this year, nobody else has done that.
And we may not even get to play in our conference ship or NY6 Bowl.
Sucks mayne

College football scheduling is stupid. Losses are taken too seriously as well, but that's often the only way to separate teams that are close in quality.
There's no doubt in my mind that Houston deserves a shot if we had a bigger playoff system.
The playoff should be expanded to 8 teams, and all other bowls should be considered exhibitions.

Houston lost to Navy and SMU, why would they be in the top 8? They don't have to play ranked teams week in and week out, they don't really have a great excuse.
Maybe true, but they also have better wins than anyone in the country.
I'm dying to see an 8-team playoff regardless. It would be so much damn fun to watch.

Utah finally doesn't win a game just by letting the other team be stupid. Oregon almost did it though
LOL

WVU has to be the most undisciplined team I've seen this season. Not even giving themselves a chance.
By cashman Go To Postsigh, this really sucks for CharlieSomehow I think he'll be ok.
