Thanks
Just sitting in the waiting area right now. They’re getting her set up in a room.
I’m 75% asleep, only thing keeping me up is the AC set to like 50f

Baby decides at 1am it’s ready to come out. You’re tired as fuck but can never catch up on sleep
She just called and said they’re gonna do the c section in about an hour

Awww man I remember the feeling of emergency c section, don't worry they got this! Hope mother and baby are ok.

Damn it’s really happening
Lmfao
😂 glad it went well congrats
This is the best SlAENT thread. Love the updates
Man, I don’t think there’s any better feeling in the world than hearing your baby’s first cry. There’s always the possibility that something can go wrong, but when I heard that cry.. 🥹🥹🥹
I just want to sleep, but I can’t. It’s like I’m still running on adrenaline

Get used to this for like the next 9-12 months at minimum lol
Like you said hearing that cry is one of the best feelings in the world.
And remember nobody knows what they're doing in the beginning. You're winging it, and that's fine. Your baby just cares about food, shelter, sleep. Everything else will take care of itself one way or another, so don't be too hard on yourself during the journey.
Congrats my man
Id be happy with like 1 hour
I woke up at 10am on Thursday and haven’t slept since. Every time I lay down, it’s like she knows. I was just turning the TV off after the Nuggets embarrassed the Suns and then my wife’s water breaks.
She ain’t cry all day, all the nurses saying how she’s so quiet compared to the other babies. But its 3am and she wants to cry now

Wonderful isn’t it
Don’t worry it doesn’t change as they get older, the method shifts. My 7 year old son come busting in the room at 730am on a Sat morning talking about learning Spanish
Got 2 hours of sleep thanks to my mother in law and sister in law
Never been so happy about 2 hours of sleep in my life

My daughter will sleep all day, it’s a 30 minute endeavor to wake her up for feeding. After 10pm? She wakes up every 30 minutes

Yesterday my son threw up twice at school. Wife had to go get him in a Uber due to 1/2 cars being away for maintenance checkup, and me at work. Threw up in the Uber (in his backpack). A few hours later threw up again by the bathoom but didn't make it to the toilet.
These are the things you have to look forward to, Rob.

My five year old just had that, or something similar but it started at 11PM at night so only my sleep was affected. Poor dude throwing up in an Uber ….
Day 4 my kid looks at me and asks me why he’s sick as he’s just feeling miserable. Hard to watch your kid be miserable

Yeah, daycare and preschool are just chemical weapon factories. My daughter is sick like once a month, meaning my wife is sick once a month and I am sick about once a month😂

i got so lucky my kid wasn't into bodily shit. As soon as he was able to realize that he had shit on him in his diaper, he took that mf off quick lol. Never had any horrendous crap stories, vomit, or snot. I remember him getting up in the middle of the night a few times when he was real young and telling us he had to throw up, then going to the toilet, rather then just letting it fly all over his bed and room.

Same, my wife and I are dying. I don't know how my wife does it (exclusively breast feeding on demand).
When she came out my daughter hit the highest mark on that chart they use to measure how loud their scream is. Ive never heard a baby this small produce this kind of boom, it's like I've given birth to a female Thor.
Start at 3-4 months old. Should only take a week or so to get them go through night. May take more time to get them to fall alsleep on their own.

My sister started at like 2 months lol … supposedly their brains develop the ability to self sooth at 4 months.
My son woke me up every 2 hours for 4 months straight
When you put kids down for nap during day are you doing so by an open window?

Super important for their day / night rhythm
She fooled me Sunday night. She slept the whole night, woke up for a feeding around 3 but then fell asleep with no issues
And then last night was probably the second worst night. I could never tell my wife but I fell asleep after feeding her on the couch at 3am. I was burping her and next thing I know, I woke up at 5 and my neck was killing me from being unsupported

It's funny, we didn't do any of that... if my daughter was fussy at night, I would walk her in her stroller and she would pass out. But other than that, we didn't do anything special
Son had his awards "ceremony" in class today. Going to the second grade! My wife and I attended. He wasn't expecting me thinking I would be at work, and he actually got up to give me a hug as I walked in ;_;
He towers over his classmates and it's hilarious. People think he's 8 or 9 and he just turned 7 a few months ago lol. Dunno where the height is coming from but I'm with it.
Also, them getting out of school the second week of june has been mindfuking me for months and makes no sense to me.

Just had to knock food out of the back of my son throat. He was only choking for like 5 seconds but I’m shook …. Not something I want to do again
That is horrible. When we were weaning my 1st we thought he was choking but somehow he managed to inhale a bit of apple. Ended up in hospital with a doctor having to put a tube down his throat to fish it out.
We'd already spent a month with this kid in hospital when he was born cause he had low blood sugar so it was hell going back again. Thankfully the children's NHS in central London is world class and it was dealt with very quickly.
The hospital he was at called Evalina's was right on the opposite side of the Thames to the Houses of Parliament (Big Ben). Only one parent was allowed in due to covid so I ended up walking round the south bank which was deserted apart from 1 family of tourists who clearly didn't give a shit.

Just change the angle you ejaculate inside your partner. Like make sure you nut into the vaginal wall. If you cum hard enough every single sperm should die on impact.
