im always inclined to trust the way the giants go about their business; their methods for revitalizing and rebuilding tend to be admired around the league. and i mean, two super bowls in the past seven years.
but this is a bit weird.... even though it actually isnt because they never spend much in fa.
guess wait and see the draft :<

see what happens without a strong father figure in a childs life
This would have been more entertaining if Smith had left a couple of years ago. I don't know if he's got enough left to need any goggles.
any fellow Lions fans here?
where's Kas yo
you may as well be asking if there are any fellow BBC lovers on here
fuck schaub, we clowned this dude with 10 men on defense
It's a cheap pick up. Even though Schaub is the starter, I really hope McGloin just outplays him and becomes the starter and builds on what he did last season. He didn't have that bad of a showing for his first year.
LOL Eagles signing Mark Sanchez.lmao you see dis? http://instagram.com/p/l04dHmiX6v fuckin died
gonna be fun when foles inevitably gets hurt and the sanch comes out
Eagles cut MeSean Jackson: http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/10688873/desean-jackson-released-philadelphia-eagles apparently he's been connected to a Los Angeles gang and the Eagles don't want to get Aaron Hernandezed.
have the crips released a statement?
hope he comes to oaktown and we draft manziel da god
JFF, MeSean, Run DMC, MJD and Marcel Reese. That sounds like a glorious disaster.

Who posts in NFL-"that OTHER forum"? I need you to invite guys like ez and co. here. We gonna corporate raid OT Sports-"that OTHER forum"!!!
hi
so the Giants made a fuckton of small signings since my last post, it seems Reese is getting a bunch or mid-talent guys and hoping one of them turns into gold sprinkled in with a few big splashes.

I for one am glad that this dead period has been punctuated by Earl Thomas signing an extension. Hopefully the Dick Sherman extension is soon.

bluemax can you give us Giants fans a read on Walter Thurmond? His play/what Giants fans will like/hate/etc.?

He's a pretty good nickel corner when healthy/not suspended. I think the consensus is that he doesn't have the size/speed to be an outside guy.
Really want to see what the Giants do at #12. I'm guessing best available offensive lineman.Hope and PRAY that Taylor Lewan is still available. I started studying him and he'd revolutionize the offensive line.

The two facts about the O-Line ... :o
If I were the Texans I'd pick Mack and then trade up for Manziel even if it requires an RGIII haul
the truth is that people whiff on 1st rounders all the time--I still feel like we won the RGIII trade because the Rams stuck with a QB who probably isn't that good and their picks haven't resulted in wins on the season.
There's always talent in the later rounds. Arguably the two best players on the Seahawks were Kam Chancellor and Sherman who were both 5th rounders.

The Seahawks best player is Earl Thomas, who was a first rounder, but I do agree with the majority of your point.
Someone on, I think SBNation, had a write up of all the trades of and for first round choices in the past 20 years or so. They general just don't work out for the team that trades up massive amounts of picks.
Part of the philosophy that John Schneider brought over from Green Bay is that you need a certain percentage of your roster to be stars/above average guys and the rest needs to be quality depth. If you trade a bunch of picks you better damn well get one of those star players because you're robbing yourself of valuable depth. You just can't get away with being completely top heavy in the NFL anymore.
Fuck Frankman.Fuck you too you ain't got no football game either. That's two sports I'd whip you in, and don't backtrack like you usually do either.
I've seen your post history, and it reads like a John Cena wrestling match: usually boring, very predictable.

by the same token how many teams have been deep at every position but lacked a star QB though?
obviously it depends on what you think about Manziel of course
Smart call Houston
1 Houston Jadeveon Clowney (DE) S Carolina
1 Houston Jadeveon Clowney (DE) S Carolina
Scouts Inc. pros: Freakish combination of length, get-off burst, suddenness, and power as a pass-rusher. Also is most schemed against defensive player we have ever evaluated. Is tough and not afraid to challenge any opponent.
Scouts Inc. cons: Better motor in 2012 than seen on 2011 tape, but inconsistent effort returned in 2013. A bit lean in lower body and needs to improve lower-body strength. Allows pads to rise too often and loses power base, as a result.
2 St. Louis Greg Robinson (OT) Auburn
Scouts Inc. pros: Explosive initial pop and rare finishing strength. Blows up most LBs with initial strike. It's over when he locks out with hands inside.
Scouts Inc. cons: Needs to recognize when he's in trouble with hand positioning and abort, rather than reaching around or clutching/grabbing. Too many holding penalties as a result of poor hand placement. Has length and feet to recover from most mistakes, but won't recover as easily at next level.
HAHHHAAHHHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAAHHHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAAHHHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAAHHHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAAHHHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAAHHHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAAHHHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAAHHHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAAHHHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAAHHHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAAHHHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAAHHHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAAHHHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHAHHHAAHHHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHHA WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCJKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK JAGS
3 Jacksonville Blake Bortles (QB) C Florida
3 Jacksonville Blake Bortles (QB) C Florida
Scouts Inc. pros: Overall decision making is above average and continues to improve with more game experience. Sees entire field. Leads receivers to yards after catch. Throws a very 'catchable' ball.
Scouts Inc. cons: Takes a few too many chances throwing into coverage. Like most young QBs, he needs to learn arm limitations. Struggled with velocity on a few throws in freezing cold conditions vs. SMU in 2013.

The Cleveland Browns have traded their pick to the Buffalo Bills.
OHSHITOHSHITOHSHIT if this is Manziel I'm dead...
4 Buffalo [from Cleveland] Sammy Watkins (WR) Clemson

OHSHITOHSHITOHSHIT if this is Manziel I'm dead...
4 Buffalo [from Cleveland] Sammy Watkins (WR) Clemson
Scouts Inc. pros: He has the tools to consistently separate in the NFL. Explosive and dynamic weapon. Elite acceleration as a vertical route runner and after the catch.
Scouts Inc. cons: Not a polished route runner at this point. Ball security is shaky at times. Lost two fumbles in 2013. Has lost four of seven career fumbles.
