Dont remember exactly what episode number, but as soon as the western actors were introduced it got really fucking bad. That said, the director has apparently made other much better stuff, so still interested. Probably the only netflix original that really grabbed me, despite then turning a bit shit.

Every time they go out of their way to show off how perfectly they captured the look and "feel" of a property in promo stuff it usually means they changed it in other massive, irredeemable ways. I'm expecting One Piece to be absolutely terrible as well, and the more they keep releasing shots of the super faithful sets and stuff the more apprehensive I get

Binge watched the first 5 episodes of The Sandman. I really like it.
It has always been a property that I was curious about, the artwork was amazing and it seemed something people really loved.
Kind of amazing someone dropped so much money on something that isn't that mainstream.
It's a fascinating world and the cast is great, I have no point of reference but it's likely they do justice to characters.
Hopefully it becomes a hit, it's number 1 in Portugal right now.
It has always been a property that I was curious about, the artwork was amazing and it seemed something people really loved.
