Saw Extraction. Action scenes were fine, everything else was a bit meh.
Joe Russo already signed up to write a sequel/prequel as the movie is on the way to be Netflix's most watched movie with already 90M+ viewings.

Have to say despite The Platform being massively on the nose it was reasonably enjoyable.
The Extraction was fine - I got what I wanted out of it.
Just started The Last Dance and it is very bingeable.

By Laboured Go To PostYeah but I'll probably die first so who's the real winner? You tell him.
We'll probably die before the water wars!
Been watching Kingdom and damn does it make American zombie shows seem like amateur hour. What is the budget for this show?
By You got 14 bricks right there? Go To PostIt seems like so much more than that.Low actor cost probably has something to do with it?
If this was made in the US, half the budget would go to them.
It also has a lot to do with cinematography and eye for the camera. I reckon that a lot of the most talented cinematographers work in Asian cinema and TV and not necessarily in America.
I think it's kinda sad you can't make a big budget historical drama without adding zombies to mitigate the financial risk
I must've seen it all the way through 3 times at this point
I've got early 2000s HBO shows to get through

Breaking Bad Season 5 has to be the most unwatchable season ever. Going through it the first time it was amazing, but on a rewatch it's just uncomfortable. So many pointless deaths due to Walt's ego.
All this because Gretchen didn't want him.

Season 5 & 2 are the only seasons I can rewatch. Season 5 especially as it’s just a roller coaster. Not to hate on it in hindsight but after rewatching it, BB is sooooooo overrated.
Season 4 is ok
Season 2 & 5 are excellent.
Seasons 1 & 3 are good.

Not saying it is not overrated, but it is pretty darn good from start to finish.

I think part of the reason is because Walt is basically the power fantasy for 90% of the people on the internet. A nerdy, awkward man who believes life has been unfair to him (even though his life is shit because of all the choices he made)

By syrenity now! Go To Postdefinitely a great show but it gets mentioned as a top 3 at worst show. It's the Kobe of TV shows.
By domino Go To PostHannibal tv show from nbc coming June 5beautiful show if you can skip past season 1. Trippy
By Lupercal Go To PostI thought Hannibal already was on Netflix? Eu then probably? It used to be on Netflix on many regions but it isn't anymore. It was never on Netflix in the US, they were interested in picking it up after NBC cancelled it but Amazon had the rights in the US and a couple more regions so that's why neither Netflix or Amazon made big advances towards it.
Watching The Last Dance and man, Scotty was being handled like low trash and MJ out here spewing the company line. What are these feelings I’m getting...
By Adam Go To PostJust finished Dark S2.what a fucking show, I thought they jumped the shark with S1's ending and that there was just no way the narrative structure could sustain all of that but they pulled it off somehow...
Parallel universes? :s
Can't wait till next month for the last season.
:3
I feel the same about S2's ending but this time I aint gonna doubt them again

Aye spot on. Legitimately one of the best shows Netflix has.
The Last Airbender is still the ultimate kid show imo. I could write a n8ssay on its positive message and rich characters alone, but it's incredibly entertaining on top.

Yeah, Netflix's international offerings have been a nice change in pace.

Netflix needs better quality control.

Only the 2nd show ever to get another shot after a Netflix cancellation, probably helps that the production company isn't Netflix
By inky Go To PostThe Last Airbender is still the ultimate kid show imo. I could write a n8ssay on its positive message and rich characters alone, but it's incredibly entertaining on top.I'm genuinely looking forward to getting my nephew to watch it when he's a bit older. Not that the content is unsuitable for a 9 year old, but his attention to anything he's watching lasts about 3 minutes and it's a show that deserves a proper watch imo
