By /sy Go To Postat least we got 2 great seasonsDamn. That's legit one of the best things Netflix has going.
By reilo Go To PostIt's not like Fincher has been doing anything else
well he probably wants to...
I thought Fincher was doing a movie, that's why it would take longer for Mindhunter to start filming again.
Shame, might be Netflix's second best show.
Shame, might be Netflix's second best show.
Fincher wants to do a million things and be involved in everything.
He has the movie about the Citizen Kane writer and that animated show, Mindhunter would probably only be shoot in 2 years.
The fact they didn't say it's cancelled gives a very tiny bit of hope, I think most of the cast would be happy to be back.

i think it's going to happen eventually its just that it may be a couple of years away and it was unfair to the actors to have such an inconsistent schedule for something they were contractually obligated to do

Incredible win for the rest of the world.
By reilo Go To PostOh wait, that's for everywhere but America? Fucking hell
HBO Max acquired the rights for it in America. That was announced back in November I think.
Anyone watch that show Between? Might be the worst show I've ever seen. Pretty funny unintentionally funny though.
Tyler Perry's new Netflix movie is apparently a good damn fucking mess. Tons of continuity errors, terrible directing, unprepared extras.
Who knew that filming a movie in 5 days was a recipe for disaster?

The Witcher is not good? Gave it an honest two episodes but I feel like I needed to have read the source material to understand what the hell is going on.
It felt more like a season 2 to a season 1 I never watched.

It takes a while to settle you in because of the confusing time jumping in the first few episodes. Especially if you don't really know the characters, places and correct timeline like I did. But after the fourth episode everything was layed out pretty decent. News about the second season so far was that they'll be able to tell a much more structured story now they've got this intro bit out of the way.
Other than the confusing parts I'd say The Witcher is decent at best. Acting is alright for most of the cast. The story and the world they live in are interesting. CGI isn't that great though overall. But I'll stick with it for the second season.

It was a big mess. I honestly don't know how people managed to follow it without having any idea of the story previous.

Needs at least the first three episodes to dig its heels in IMO. I think it’s the non linear timelines that make it hard. Gets better but is never great. It’s fun monster action, with boobs and magic.

I blame Westworld for timeline Fuckery in story structures.
Wait, the character arcs are in non-linear timelines??? Where the fuck was that explained lmaaaaoooo
By reilo Go To PostWait, the timelines are non-linear??? Where the fuck was that explained lmaaaaooooI have just seen the first 3 or 4 episodes but I think it's revealed later. There are definite hints about it, mainly on the 3rd episode.

You didn’t clock on to King Foltest appearing as an an adult and a child in the same episode?

Yeah that's why I said it takes 3 to 4 episodes to start rolling. After the 4th you're used to it, the time lines are clearer and the jumping around isn't as messy.
Keep in mind I didn't read the books and only played W3. There's sort of a distant past, a near past and present.
I saw one episode and it's a if I had five months of spare time I might get to it kind of show
I currently do not

Holy fuck. I didn't think I would hear anything more wild than sun tanning your asshole for energy boosts, but here we are. On Netflix no less.

Gotta tan the yoni as well, otherwise the magical health benefits don’t materialise

Caught episode 1 of The Witcher. Thought it was okay although I had trouble following the story because I had no idea what the fuck people were saying half the time. Fight scene in the market was excellent. Netflix should just pay CDProjekt Red whatever they want and skip to a Hearts of Stone adaptation.
