The Haunting of Hill House is getting some great reviews. Can't wait for it, I liked pretty much everything that Mike Flanagan has done, he is one of my favourite modern horror movie directors and it will be interesting how he will do with the freedom to tell a story in 10 episodes instead of the usual 90 to 120 minutes.

3 days till daredevil, fisk is back (still best on screen marvel villan, second maybe to thanos), too hyped.
You just dont know what your going to get with these shows, I'll watch them because reasons, but JJ season 2 was so bad, DD season 2 ws a show of two halves, Luke Cage season 2 was good, I dont even think about Iron Fist. That show was rancid.

Daredevil has its flaws but man it does such an incredible job with its one take choreography fights. The one in S3 is masterclass.

Hill House was pretty good, a little soapy for my tastes but I definitely got hooked on the story and it's very well made.
The older siblings were SUCH whiny assholes though, in the last episode when the dad tells the son to be kind to each other I was like fucking THANK YOU, these people can't even say hello to each other without someone overreacting and going "HELLO? HELLO?! WHAT THE FUCK'S THAT SUPPOSED TO MEAN?"

Lmfao. That's one of my only points of contention for it. I totally get that the lack of communication fit the narrative and subtext of ignoring problems, but that shit got annoying real quick towards the end.
They did all of that yelling, saw the same fucking ghosts, and were "sensitive" to the supernatural, and not one person opened their mouths. When they did, it was "Oh fuck you, suck my dick, I'm out here doing me." Like damn.
