I'm actually surprised he doing APC first. I remember reading a Maynard article years and years ago about how he when he did APC, he was in a super dark place in his life and that the group would likely not come back because of that. I had always assumed Tool would be the comeback.

Tool has been stuck in recording Hell because of some issue with the record company. There’s also a rumor the band scrapped a whole album because they didn’t like it on first listen

Fuck it, listening to Daft Punk's RAM right now since I haven't really listened to it on a good sound system before. A couple songs fall flat for me, but I really do like a lot of this album.
