I am a massive Chvrches fan so my opinion is a bit bias but it's the most honest and personal album from them.
Songs like He Said She Said, Final Girls and Good Girls are extremely connected to the constant online abuse Lauren Mayberry has received since the band started and that got much worse when the band publicly criticised Marshmello for working with known predators and abusers Chris Brown and Tyga (Marshmello and Chvrches had just released a song together, Here With Me).
The abuse got so bad that the band had to increase security at their shows due to the constant rape and death threats towards Mayberry.
Besides all that, the album had a collaboration with one of my favourite musicians ever, Robert Smith from The Cure, and it also led to John Carpenter (who was a major influence on Screen Violence) remixing Good Girls and Chvrches remixing John Carpenter's Turning The Bones.
By data Go To PostHuh. ETID broke up apparently
Not surprising. Been some months now with Keith accusing them of replacing him and not accepting his sobriety and so on, and basically said he was never going to play with them again. Who knows if it's just his own paranoia or what. But certainly sounded like it was over already unless they hired a new guy.
Shame for them. But tbh, I feel like they dropped off hard and release too much. I wont miss them overly much.

I’m not feeling the entire Dawn FM album, but Out of Time is up there with his best. One song I keep returning to though is Secrets from the Starboy album. It’s top five for me in his whole body of work. Tbh, Starboy as an album is probably The Weekend at his very best.
Most of the stuff Greg does on his own is some proper boomer stuff, so nice that someone can keep him in check here. Will give a listen for sure.
Sy mentioned Cruel Intentions in the film thread. The first I remembered was that Every You Every Me from Placebo was the opening track of the movie so it was good excuse to listen to them again.
Started thinking how Placebo were such a big part of latter part of my teenage years. First band that I really loved and had the opportunity to watch live.
Then I was shocked when I realized that that concert was 16 years ago, I'm fucking old.
I know this isn't Every You Every Me but it's one of my favourite songs of them and most likely their best video.
Love that song so much.
Teardrops on my face, it's like teardrops become waterfalls by the time they reach my laces
My eyelids is like levees but my tear ducts is like glaciers
As I contemplate creation, the salt that heals my wounds pour out my eyes just like libations
I can't stop my mind from racing, I got numbers on my phone
Pictures on my phone
The day my mama died, I scrolled her texts all day long
The physical returns but the connection still stay strong
Now I understand why you used to cry sometimes we ride down Claybourne
You just missed your— You just missed your mama
Now I just miss my mamas
The clothes we wear to bed at night to sleep is just pajamas
The flesh we roam this earth in is a blessing, not a promise
I bow with those who bow to the creator and pay homage
