Oh maaaan, I wish this thread was more active :( as I love nothing more than to muse and write absolute fucking nonsense about whatever I'm listening to :lol
@Carpenter Brut, they're so good that I'm still not sure if I even liked Hotline Miami or just the OST
@Kikarian ahaha yeaaaah that's off Ummagumma, no? It's the only album I don't *own* along with Atom Heart Mother. One of those one time listens albums..
So what I've been listening to lately you say....well it's hard to answer as I've been going through an obscene amount of Prog metal albums in the past few months. I feel like King Crimson is an acquired taste (70s prog metal in general) so I'll just post something relatively tame then
that heavenly end bit there is a mix of Mother (Pink Floyd) and Sugar Mice (Marillion)

60s pink floyd was definitely not my thing, i had all their cassettes from my brothers collection from the dark side of the moon onwards. that's when they truly started to shine for me

Listening to some Arcade Fire essentials playlist on Tidal because I'm lazy. Currently the song "The Suburbs".
By DY_nasty Go To Postposting for clarity and justiceThese are amazing.

They are…. SO hit or miss lol
perturbator - sentient has the female vocalist from dead astronauts (hayley stewart)
Rage Against the Machine
Bombtrack
Just been in a mood to play something in their traditional style very loudly.

Radiohead
A Moon Shaped Pool (album name)
I'm actually listening to the studio version of this. I wish they had a different vocal style, but everything else is just aces on my first listen. Love it.

so gud. just saw that myself
i think my issue with dead astronauts is that the guy's vocals are just all over the place. when he's on, he's fucking ON, but there are times when he just should give her the mic and walk out. every few tracks they get together and its butter
he nailed The Pier. They don't get much better than that.
Still ain't topping da gawd from Le Cassette tho

Whole album is decent
That's some gooood shit right there. Brann Dailors vocals has really grown on me ever since he started singing, at first it felt and sounded so weird, but... I like it quite a bit now.
Anyway
Had no idea there was a new Little Dragon album out today too. It got caught up in the Kendrickpocalype.
Really good so far.
