By Phlebas Go To PostLiterally who?19 year old midfielder at Santos. Not a lot known about him.
Pele pls
Unless they really petitiond hard and he qualified as a special talent like Kenedy last summer, we very likely would have an issue getting him a work permit, so he would be a loanee starting in January. Olympics will be a good stage for him to show off what he is capable of.
I'm assuming that's what City are doing or have already done for Gabriel Jesus.
By Yurt Go To PostOh, AC Milan. Read earlier that the Chinese consortium have given up. They're truly dead. #Belusconi'd
look at that 120 million play by Pogba, it's a shame those don't register as assists.
Happy birthday n8er g8er
p.s. that hospital team is AC Milan

Admit it none of you actually like premier League fantasy and it's the sports equivalent of calling that aunt you have no strong feelings about three times a year
So besides the Barca/Leicester game and Martinez being announced for Belgium, did anything else noteworthy happen today?
I see Copenhagen and Celtic got by in the CL.

Oh wait, the other noteworthy thing that happened is Oscar has removed his Chelsea cover photo from twitter and posted a picture of him waving goodbye.
Emil is probably still ejaculating in happiness.

I do think Rooney and Ibra are going to have a difficult time playing together, I think their qualities overlap a bit too much and Rooney doesnt have a consistent good pass to be a no.10.
The main frustration this season is going to be watching Rooney be shit in a position Mkhi would be perfect for. Next season Mkhi into 10 and a new RW please.

Will probably never happen though.

And that suck about Mendez. Only takes eight pounds of pressure to rip off the human ear.

Damn. Real basically putting out their starting XI minus Cristiano, Bale, and Benzema.

Would go:
--------------- De Gea ---------------
Valencia - Bai - Mike - ShawTheGoat
------------- Carrick -------------
------ Rooney ----- Pogba -------
Mkhi ------ Zlatan ------ Martial
Rooney won't get dropped and for the amount of times he drops into midfield to pick the ball up to spray it wide, he might as well start in a midfield 3. Would ideally drop him for Herrera/Fosu.
With Ibra dropping deep today, he and Rooney were getting into each others area and we had nobody making a run in behind to strech the defence (apart from Lingard/Depay at times). Lack of pace through the middle could be an issue. Same thing we saw vs Gala, until Rashers came on.
Also hope to see more from Martial without the ball. Don't usually see enough of him trying to get in behind the full back considering the pace he has.

I thought Rooney played well tonight. Interchanged very well with Ibra and the rest of the front four. Infact it was a very fluid front four in the first half.
One thing for sure is I'd rather we start with Carrick and Pogba in the mid, with Pogba as the more advanced mid. But for now it should be Carrick and Schneiderlin for me. Carrick is really important to control and pivot our game.
Anyway, looking forward to the Community Shield.

Ideally you would want a Fosu-Mensah, Pogba, Morgan midfield with Carrick, and Herrera filling in. You want a guy that is full of energy that can cover space fast, and a guy that can distribute. Pogba would be left to contribute to the attack. As a bonus, he would also help out with the distribution and defending, though not his main area of contribution. The problem is that Rppmey is there taking up the 10 spot, and Timmy is still a fetus who could turn out to be a bust for all we know.

Casemiro and Modric really shouldn't be on after the second half. Also would have liked Asensio starting.

Fucking Rooney. If he gets a contract extension he would have to take less money right? Besides, I thought he signed a new contract like 2 years ago.

Bayern looks really good. Didn't see a lot of them last season though, are they comparable to when they were under Gardiola?
