I'll kick it off with De Gea
Aguero
I would say Sanchez and Ozil too but I reckon some people would argue those.

Also according to this random google site
http://www.caughtoffside.com/2016/03/11/are-there-any-world-class-players-in-the-premier-league/
Mesut Ozil = world class
David Silva = world class
David de Gea = world class
Thibaut Courtois = world class
Hugo Lloris = world class
Toby Alderweireld = world class

Sanchez is close.
At the game. Classic arsenal. I love Jack.

De Gea, Cech, Courtois (if he recovers from a poor season). Could argue Lloris as well but he has his flaws.
Defenders... avbface.png. Think Terry was astonishingly good the season before last, Alderweireld, Koscielny and Smalling probably the best around now but none of them are at the peak of the game. Bellerin is perilously close too.
Pogboom. Gundogan (when fit). De Bruyne. Silva. Micky. Ozil. Sanchez. Mahrez (if he keeps it up). Kante. Hazard (if he recovers). Willian has it in him. Fuck Coutinho. Eriksen is great on his day. Payet.
Kane. Aguero. Zlatan. Costa. Sturridge when fit and confident. Vardy needs to do it for another season.
off the top of my head.

But if you think MLS is bad, just think about what I'm watching in the US second division.

140k a week. Fucking hell...
EPL has a lot of players on the verge of world class though. My favorite? Dier. I hope we snatch him from Tottenham one day.

Arsenal got Martial tho, and a decent manager. They still haven't won the league.

Which ones haven't? A fair few of them came with disclaimers. Kante, Kane and Payet the only others ones I would see people taking umbrage with by that metric.
World Class definitions are all over the place.
- Top X footballers in their position (usually between 5 and 10)
- Can change/Win games on their own
- Could play for any of the top X clubs in the world (5-10 again)
- Consistent performer in the top 5 leagues
I've never been too sure myself of which parameters to use, but whatever the definition I think it's easier to look at a player and agree if he fits the moniker than define the thing.

Kane hasn't done it consistently at the top level. Not even sure Zlatan or Costa have.

Zlatan has won leagues in Spain, Italy and France. If we're literally just counting the Champions League as the top level then that excludes an awful awful lot of players and also doesn't reflect the relative crapshoot nature of that competition compared to leagues for consistency.
By Mr Cola Go To PostWait is Pogba considered world class or on his way?Pogba's world class.
Apparently Milner is too if you believe RAWK. :/
By Mr Cola Go To PostWait is Pogba considered world class or on his way?considering the current dearth of qualiteh midfielders, I'd say he is, and he could be even better. He was one of our MVPs last season, and we aren't some scrub team innit
okay so maybe we are a scrub team but still

He's been playing in France for four years. It's just not the top level by any measure. His CL performances I can't say for sure cos I haven't seen enough but they haven't been oustanding have they? The best case you can make for him is just in his outrageous natural ability.
Zlatan has been fantastic for like a decade now.
Bloke has managed to score 60 goals for a team like Sweden as well man. SWEDEN.
PL has quite a few world class midfielders imo but defenders? None. Strikers? I think everyone would agree on Aguero but people would argue over Costa and the likes. Couple of keepers and they're obvious.

Btw, we rejected signing Zlatan two seasons ago (and the season before that) #CavoliRiscaldati
nobody really knows how good he'll be after spending a long ass time in France, yeah...
but hey, I'm SURE he can still do the small teams, so he'll get you points, no worries there.

Zlatan's been bagging goals for fun for 10+ years now. If he isn't world class then nobody is besides Ronaldo and Messi.
I have come to learn over the years that Viva has very high standards. It's why he doesn't like us anymore.
