By Frustrated_me Go To PostBest in years, we've got a really balanced team and we didn't fuck it up by signing a 100 million $ player.Lol Madrid fans caring about how much is spent
By S@l Go To Post"I'm so glad we didn't sign Paul Pogba"Haha YES Sal.

How would you rate your team's transfer window?
Copenhagen: 9/10.
Got really everything you could hope, even replacements for players leaving next season already. For the last point a signing like grønkjær would needed, but overall fantastic window.
Chelsea: 6/10
Kante is a fantastic signing, and already changed the team quite a bit. Marseilles seems promising. However Alonso and Luiz to fix the defense? I like Luiz, a lot, but bigger and bigger changes are needed.
Palermo: 1/10
Absolutely disgraceful.
8/10.
4 good signings, the players we wanted and we got them quickly. It felt like Pogba might have dragged a bit longer that it needed to but it wouldn't have changed the date he joined the squad.
Two issues,
- Not selling better
- Not getting a second defender
Also it's easy when you're so rich and you can just ask a club how much they want for a player and say okay sure. It's not quite that simple...but for us it kind of is.

Juve 8/10: I feel a true heir for Pirlo is still missing. Other than that, hard to be disappointed. Glad Witsel wasn't signed. Cuadrado is a solid option, but I feel the terms are a bad if Juve are still aiming for Berardi next year. However, that is what good teams do, they don't plan for maybes. Juve's goal is to make the big three in Europe the big four. We still have to see what happens on the pitch, but all the moves indicate that it is a realistic achievement for the next few years. Juve did well to send Pol to Sassuolo where he will most likey see a lot of playing time this season.
Sassuolo 6/10: A few good youngsters seems to have come in, plus some Dutch boy. Losing Vsraljko and Sansone is a huge blow, but the system is what is the key at Sassuolo. Matri is death.
Arsenal 4/10: It is not really about the quality of the players brought in as I don't know enough about them to really comment. I hope they are beasts. A transfer window isn't just about who you bring in, but the planning involved. I feel like our planning is awful. We let Wilshere go and didn't bring in anyone to replace. I know we can't count on him, but several fans here said he will be good when we need him for injury cover. We now seem to be hoping that we can get through the season with what we have got, while Jack discovers his health and comes back next season. Elite teams do not plan like this.

By Vivalapizza Go To Post8/10.I really think that putting us lower than 9/10 is a little lowballing it, considering that we managed to get all of Jose's first choice targets, including a world class midfielder that can easily be first choice in every other top teams in the world. I don't think any other team (than maybe Juventus, even City missed out on Laporte) can say that about their transfers this season.

The issue of us not selling better isn't that glaring for me, seeing how Fellaini who I really want to be sold since a season ago has been a rock for us in midfield. Rojo is still a problem, but it's not like he's our first choice in fullback.
By Vivalapizza Go To PostDid Cuadrado go to Juve on a three year loan?
Yep, 5 million a year. Seems the deal will be made permanent when some milestone hits. Then it is a 25 million buy, but Juve just pay the difference from what they have already given Chelsea. Seems to just be a case of creative accounting by Juve.
Really interested to see how Pogba does v City and bigger teams, especially teams that will push out at us giving him more space to move, I wonder if Jose will restrict him somewhat in games like this to try to get a win.

We needed to improve defence. Okay we got Bailly and he looks good but he's not a 'sure' thing. Obviously you can't always get those players...but that would be a 10/10.

I think the squad is too big and over the season we will have unhappy players and young players won't have the space to get games. Think we should have sold a couple of the first team squad.
Think Morgan will be gone next season.
Need to find a Carrick replacement too. Krychowiak would've been perfect

Shanks gives a 4/10 because I said Jack is a good option off the bench.
Even though Shanks doesn't rate him and thinks we should have cut him lose years ago.
Got it.
We have a squad of 25 or 26 players that are good enough. Only 19 or 20 of those are going to see any real time.
Jack is behind Ramsey, Santi and Elneny in midfiled.
He is behind Theo Ox and Iwobi on the wing.

I meant to ask you seemed to think Lucas will be paying on on the RW as opposed to CF, how come?

Because Giroud is good and we have yet to see if Perez is.
Much more likely Perez is better than Theo or Ox than Giroud
6/10
Filled the need for a new keeper and replaced our outgoing CBs with better ones. Mane's been fucking brilliant but I'm not convinced on Wijnaldum yet. Got rid of most of the deadwood as well. Can't rate it to highly though as we're still desperate for a left back and could do with a proper defensive midfielder.
