I think some very awry has happened at RM this summer but I'm not sure what it is.
I know that they won the CL but standing still is still going backwards in football. You've got to weed out those who will rest on their laurels and bring in fresh blood to put new impetus into the team.
Add onto that the fact that RM will be transfer banned for the next two windows and it just becomes more and more peculiar.
They should be having a very aggressive transfer window, buying up successors to their current stars now but they are just dawdling in a similar manner to when Moyes turned up at United.

They can't appeal any higher than CAS so provided CAS administrate the case on a normal timescale, no chance.
Edit: I mean there can't be a further stay of the order. So the only thing stopping them from getting a ban in the winter now would be to win at CAS.

Morgan isn't a defensive midfielder though so I see Mou's thinking with both of them. They both like to snap at heels, run box to box... Herrera is better attacking and Morgan defending, but this isn't a Cesc/Matic scenario because Pogba's adept at both as well.
