By Suen Go To PostDo you think they'll go in the same path as Inter did with Thohir? All those promises and smiles he gave Inter and yet no real changes occured, just some signings of "low" profile players. Is Milan walking that path? I don't want to believe it. Juve's dominance needs to end so I must believe in the Chinese making Milan glorious again. We really don't know what path Milan will take, but I gotta believe that nobody pays this much for a club just to take a shit on it.

Mitten: "Pogba fee is €105 million. That's £89 million. Would've been £74 million had be been bought before the pound crashed."

Mino's fee is still in double figures, which pushes this well beyond comprehension be it in Euros, Pounds or Link Rupees. Brexit, pre-WW1 or post Trump.
an incredibley significant detail as far as accounting and the total cost goes
Last time I bought chupa chups, the lady at the store asked me "you don't eat these do you?" (that none existent filipino filter) and I quickly said "no, it's for some kids", which just made it a lot weirder.
But they taste so good.

United trying hard here.
Anyone watching the women's cycling? The leader fell off her bike and actually was launched into the air. I think her head or neck bounced off the curve. Hasn't moved in the last 60 seconds

All those promises and smiles he gave Inter and yet no real changes occured, just some signings of "low" profile players. Is Milan walking that path? I don't want to believe it. Juve's dominance needs to end so I must believe in the Chinese making Milan glorious again.1) They didn't sign. Fininvest (Berlusconi's company) said they're selling the club to this Chinese group. It's the 4th time since 2015, never got through.
2) The investing group is made of shady companies. One of those is China itself. Yes, the state of China. Why would China invest in a team that has always in the past 30 years, been the worst asset in Fininvest? And not only the worst, they never ever closed a year on profit. How? Well, Berlusconi needed people to vote for him and the team for financial benefits to help his more successful parts of the company. Now that he runs basically nothing, his heirs showed no interest in keeping AC Milan so they're selling it for..
3) 700 millions, more or less. And they said part of this money, 100m, will be invested on transfers. But... this money in supposed to go to Berlusconi, is he using the money they are giving to him to buy players for them? Why would he? This is either a shady backdoor deal or a move to keep fans happy, and everyone is eating this shit up. I just read the Gazzetta dello Sport, biggest sport newspaper in Italy, and they're saying the money won't be here for this transfer window anyway but for January. Soooo... how low can they go in the meanwhile? Will they just buy a stupidly expensive player and then..
4) And then China, again.
As you know my city's team was the first in Italy to be bought by Chinese investors. They came here with their money, shot a movie and a reality show in our city, bought some decent players, fought for playoffs to reach Serie B, opened a store in the city centre to sell jerseys and such. All good, right? Except this.
-Team failed to win the playoffs and underperformed the year later
-The movie they shot was shit (not that I care) and just a propaganda move
-They used their connections with Inter and "our" team to bring trainers from China to Italy and teach them how to do their job. They came here, got served as the new saviours of the city that once was great and full of factories, and then
-They left when they had enough. Yeah, just left. Debts everywhere, the store that was opened in April was closed on June (stupid move as there's nobody giving enough crap about the team to open a fucking store, you're not even in Serie B) and the team got destroyed as they didn't meet the criteria for playing next year. Bankrupcy filed, now we had to change the team's name and start from the lowest category, a bit like Parma.
To close this point, China just wants to expand and buy our knowledge. There's little money to be made in football, yes you can make the market in Asian countries bigger but that's that, and Milan has been in the shittiest form for a few years now (Allegri was the last manager to win something with them, imagine that).
Sorry for the long post.
TL;DR: Beware of China
Arsenal.com commentator nearly gave me a heart attack, he just screamed Navas's name when that shot went over the bar.

normally you rake up those agent fees and they barely hit 10 million over numerous players
case in point http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/premier-league-agent-fees-manchester-united-liverpool-manchester-city-arsenal-aston-villa-chelsea-a6996871.html
10 million for like...how many players did they buy for Gaal? That's fine, and not a sticky accounting issue as far as their cost goes
