Why would you cause colossal upheaval and fix it all in one summer? Too many moving parts to get going and wouldn't build any sense of cohesion.
Tbh I don't necessarily think we do need any transfers. I'm fine with Darmian or Fosu-Mensah at RB and would like Rooney dropped to play a Carrick/Pogba/one of Ander or Morgan three. Doesn't require any more buys.

I don't rate most of them but it's probably because I've never watched them closely enough for months
the LVG and Moyes era might've distorted my view of a few players
I honestly think so much could be fixed with a switch to 433. Would give Carrick extra runners, more midfield protection, would allow Pogba to play in his best position further up the pitch. Rooney is a fucking great huge weight hanging around our necks. I know I come across as eternally biased towards him but its his presence that stops us from doing something that would make an awful lot of sense.
