By Yurt Go To PostKnowing Allegri, there is no way he'll have Pjanic play as a regista / deep-lying playmaker. Maybe occasinally and only until Marchisio returns. After that he'll definitely put him in a position that'll be more benefitial to his superior assisting skills. Mezzala is likely, but I wouldn't be surprised to often find him stationed behind the two strikers, with Khedira - Asamoah (Marchisio) taking care of the defensive phase and acting as balancers. He won't be a Reus-type offensive midfielder, obviously, he'll be asked to backtrack and act as a quasi-regista, just a good 15-20m further up the midfield.
Tuttosportttttt
Apparently it's Pjanic who will choose between Witsel or Matuidi, by decicindg if he wants to be deployed as a regista like Pirlo or a mezzala (half-winger is the closet term I can think of)
A player with Pjanic's technique and vision can play pretty much anywhere in the midfield, if adequately supported. Much like Pirlo used to, he'll act as our washing machine, cleaning up questionable passes & bringing clarity and order to our offensive sorites, but I don't expect him to do half the dirty work Marchiso does.
Everton released Tony Hibbert (25 years) and Leon Osman (16 years) without telling them: they had to find out from the club website.Incredible.

The EPL season is oh so close. Buzzing.
I already booked the Monday afternoon off work so I can be home to watch Chelsea and WHU.

He isn't that great defensively, if it all, yeah.

what you're inadvertently insinuating here is that he's our Pogba replacement 🍻
reaching unhealthly levels of Pjanic hype the closer we get to the season

I wish he had a Juve B. :( Agnelli and a couple of other presidents have been pushing for second clubs for years, but they're up against the general ignorance and incompetence of Italy's football managing 'elite'. It's literally like pissing against the wind.

There are very few players in the world who are willing to ask to leave and lose their loyalty bonus.
Luckily, Juve signed one in Pjanic.

After Wenger's comments last night I fully expect us to only sign a CB. We'll only sign a striker if other deals go through and a club offers to sell to us one, we'll never actually go out and actively pursue somebody though.
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostRead the Ravel Morrison article at Guardian. Oh what could have been.Yep. Basically everyone at United had him at a level above Pogba but Ravel just didn't have the attitude to make it. Mad really.

Just saw this about Cookes debut
“My parents knew, but I didn't," he smiles. They'd known for two weeks and drove up to Manchester. It was their 25th wedding anniversary. He was told an hour before kick-off.
"The gaffer looked at me and said 'Cookie, you’re on the right. Go out and enjoy yourself.'”
