SLAENT 2016 Yahoo NFL Fantasy Football Play or Die League (Season 3) Thread of DON'T TAKE A KNEE!
This post and the next 3 or so are placeholders for the info, which is on my computer (not posting from mine!)

Is it tim efor the stock intro yet? Ok, used to be part of Cloudy's NeoGAF Fantasy Football thread (links to previous seasons 1, 2, 3, 4, 5), decided to run the show here on SLAENT.com. Seasons 1 and 2 of the league can be read in those links, and here we are for Season 3 (link here). So what's new, you may ask?
Well... not too much. Season 3 of the SLAENT Fantasy Football Play or Die League will again be Yahoo 14-16 team League, in which 8 teams will make the playoffs and Top 4 get payouts (getting 4th should get you your initial buy-in back). The buy-in will be higher this year as we get more experienced now, I like the idea of $50 since last year was 40 bucks. Settings will be a bit different this year... It’s still a non-PPR league (PPR IS STILL THE DEVIL!), with double Flex but we’ll also have 4 bench spots PLUS 1 IR spot. Defenses will get an extra tenth of a point for forcing 3 And Outs (trying to give some love to defenses). Also 16 teams will not be required; if we have 14 we’ll have 14 and might switch to 5 full bench spots. We will use the FAAB system (best system), $100 budget for the whole season. You will get points for KR/PR Yards like last year. One big difference is something Enron and I talked about alot... First place will get a bigger slice of the pie this year, and will get more in the coming years... I already pm'ed you frankman but I'm passing this year. too poor and too busy. and it's way too hard to do anything in a league with this many people, at least with the amount of effort I want to put in to fantasy football lol.

It's rough for me. Earlier that same day would be an improvement, or not a night before a work day. I don't know how flexible the league can be.

I'm on the old continent so I understand my circumstances are unusual and I don't expect much change, I'm willing to adapt, I'm saying if people don't mind making it as early as they can, that's cool. Or any time during a week-end, that kind of thing.

I did follow up on the Yahoo thread and in here... again, I asked for an exact time range and gave time suggestions. How much earlier? What time/day? You posted, then I gave a suggestion of an hour and a half earlier which was done.
EDIT: Hope to see you next year though, I can understand real life stuff gets in the way.

For future reference for the people coming in from other sites... I'll need you to first register on this forum and PM me your e-mail address so you can take over the teams of one of the guys who didn't renew. You then should get a Yahoo e-mail asking you to take over the team, then you can rename it to whatever you like. After that THEN you can send me the PayPal dues, making sure to include your SLAENT name and your new team name.
EDIT: just sent a payment reminder e-mail via Yahoo to the four holdovers who haven't paid yet (cloudy, diehard, MBison, Kusagari)

Do what I used to do minx, mock from certain groups... 1-4, 5-8, 9-12, 13-16. one random spot each time. You'll have an effective range of who's going where after 10 or so mocks.

The guys who have been radio silence I just removed their teams. Next year I won't do early renewal, too many guys renewed and pretty much never contacted me again.
