We a tight community, but not everyone may be as close or know other users as well so I thought maybe a demographics thread is useful to kind of share your culture/ethnicity and just a little of your background so that we understand where some of us come from a bit better and don't make too big of a blanket statement or assumption against other users. I am not making this thread to judge you on race, it is just difficult to understand where some people come from when they say things or argue for things.

Black British - Carrabean descent - Jamaica/st Vincent
Live in London but my immediate family live in North Carolina and San Fran (for past 10 years or so)

They say I'm from the happiest country in the world, which I am not very confident is true. Lived most of my life not too far away from Copenhagen, but always been happier when living abroad. Worked in the Philippines 7 months last year, and now going to Norway in a few weeks for permanent work, which I however doubt will be that much different from Denmark. White, middle class family, really from a family as stereotypical as you can be from here. Do have some Jewish genes in our family, but not even enough to even bother the Germans when they invaded in the 40's.
Race - 1/500 Cherokee on my grandmom's side but 99.9 percent black.

I've ground up in the greater LA area my whole life. I'm a white male aged 36.
Nationally I'm a mutt. My father immigrated from Italy when he was like 5. He's from a part of Italy that was lost to Slovania during the times of Tito. My mother's side has been in the states much longer who's mostly Irish and English and German. I grew up in a blue collar family with my father working Union Electrician his whole life. My mom stayed at home. We've always been middle class because the union rocks. (seriously the work is hard, but being a union electrician is good work) I currently work as a project manager for an electrical contractor myself. I'm a straight line Dem voter. I'm now a food loving, beer bellied man who loves surfing, beer, video games, basketball, baseball, fishing, hunting and my wife and child. I hate mowing the lawn. Like I really hate it. Enough to put it in this short description of myself.

I've been sick with depression since early in my childhood and it's only now that I'm starting to get a good grasp of the situation and improved my personal mental condition. Been working on improving myself ever since I've left highschool (around 10 years ago).
I'm almost 30 and will enter university this upcoming fall (a bachelor degree in IT).

Born in Hawaii. Raised in Baltimore, Maryland since I was seven.
Father is native Hawaiian/Jap; mother is Irish/Polish/German. An only child with little to no family connection outside of my mother and her husband by choice.
Hobbies: Shopping, cooking, gaming, watching sports, being lazy. Prefer fat asses and thighs over tits. Cute and fun trumps all though.

26 years old, 2 older brothers, no sisters before you ask. Oldest brother has 2 sons, 2 and 5 years old, who I dote over a bit but live a fair distance away
Consider myself white and English, never been too fussed about my heritage
Aunt lives in Maryland with her husband of 28 years or so, got 3 cousins over there who I wish I'd see more of. Get on with them infinitely better than the English cousins :P

Oh, and I don't have a Welsh accent. Nobody from my area does really as I live quite close to the border. Don't really have a certain distinguishable accent, just sound English really.

Mothers side came from Silesia (which is now part of Poland) and fled to the west during WWII.
Fathers side is also german and the family spread through different parts of Germany over time.
There even is a family crest.

30 something white guy born and raised in south Louisiana. We're talking Waterboy, Duck Dynasty country. Don't really slip into an accent reminiscient of the area unless I'm dead tired or drunk.
Ancestors up through great-grandparents are all French lineage. Great-grandparents on mom's side were stowaways and settled way out in the country while dad's side were legit and settled outside of New Orleans.
Have traveled all across the southern, southeastern, and southwestern US with some trips to the midwest. Only went overseas once (Japan). Struggle to see myself moving outside of south Louisiana because of the food and general hospitality down here.
