Even on Edge which is basically a fresh install with no addons etc and still just broken. Saying that since I said they work on other sites, they just went and died on me too but look like this.
VPN on fixes it all. So yeah it must be some stupid shit with my ISP.
I may never see a non-empty yurt post ever again.

I have the exact same issue, seems to happen more on pages with multiple other tweets, but that might be a placebo.
By reilo Go To PostNever renaming itlol
I just noticed that the strike text feature doesn't seem to work when used inside spoiler-tagged text.
This is an example.
Twitter embeds have been slow loading up on my laptop but fine on my ipad (both using firefox). Any suggestions?

First though Eloooonnn, but wasn't there an update for Firefox few days back. Maybe that's the root cause.
Maybe Elon has an axe to grind against Firefox and is purposefully throttling them lol
Partially sarcastic, might not be wholly wrong though

So is the favourite threads section at the top of the main page gone now, or is my FF browser being shit?
Shouldn't have changed at all
Did you toggle it to be on the bottom on accident? Check the bottom of the page.

Hmmm seems to have happened when clicking back and forth on the hide covers button. I'll try re-faving and see if that works.
Edit: hey so that's a thing.

Oh it was the toggle that sent it to the bottom lol

Loads fine in Chrome.

By reilo Go To PostHave you paid your tithe to our lord and savior Elon Musk?Seems like he still waiting for that payment.
Embeds not working, not even with Chrome (mobile).
Could be at your router or ISP level then. Maybe intermittent issues with your wifi. You can try restarting that but as far as I am aware there isn't an issue on the site's end from what I can see.
How do i post videos from imgur? Tried posting using the image embed, the social embed and the video embed and none work.

Assume this is probably an issue on Bluesky’s end but would it be at all possible to embed from there?
By Laboured Go To PostAssume this is probably an issue on Bluesky’s end but would it be at all possible to embed from there?Got an example link?
The only post links they do are things like: https://bsky.app/profile/internethippo.bsky.social/post/3kkhtbkz47c2x
Assume that wouldn't work.

If there's any link you want to try, just go here: https://iframely.com/try
iframely.net/embed.js"></script>;
That's what I get from pasting the code it produces and the social link function don't want it.

lol you can't actually post it I still have to implement it. It was just a URL to see if our provider supports it.
Is there absolutely nothing that can be done on your end, reilo, to fix the 5-10 seconds delay with embedded twittz in Firefox?
No :(
I control none of it. It uses the exact same embed provider as YT, IG, etc.
My very educated guess is that Elon is throttling embeds on purpose.

I've switched browsers for less in the past, but I really don't feel like doing it again right now. Sigh. It is what it is. Eelon you gonk.
By reilo Go To PostNo :(I believe this is a Firefox specific issue detailed here: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1745869

If you disable fission on the Firefox client, the issue goes away.
