'bans' don't really work that well. guys are going to want to get their points across, and they're going to want to get heated, and they're going to want to respond to the dogpile, etc
so to cap ALL of that before shit gets to a level where nothing can be managed, we're hitting the amount of characters the offending party is allowed to post AND their window between posts. not naming names, but say you have someone who likes to spam in an agitating way to all - hype is cool. in order to 'limit enthusiasm' :3, you're not going to booted for 3 months and forced to delete cookies, you're instead going to be working with x amount of characters per post every y minutes or so. kinda like 'probation'. you're still here, the point is made, derails to the point of clusterfuck are curbed entirely, and everyone is aware more or less lol
of course all of this is by discretion, clear expressed intent by moderation, context, etc

Post edit times have come up a few times so I'll add those in.
I'm weary of adding PNG support because of how big of a filesize those can be. Ideally, yes, we have transparent PNGs, but PNGs are a good 3-5x the size of JPGs because they are uncompressed and lossless and that becomes an issue for load times.

Weird, minor thing. On Safari iPad, the homepage login/edit profile buttons get cut off on the left side for some reason.
I'm not sure of the feasibility, but how about some kind of 'work mode' that removes avatars and forces all images to have to be clicked to be revealed - or something along those lines?

That's on the docket but at a lower priority. I have to figure out how to handle that best, whether it's per session or account wide. If you guys are okay with it being account wide, then it's pretty easy to implement.

Can you increase the amount of recent threads displayed on the home page to 20? Its my favorite way to browse the site, but I've noticed that the more active the forum gets, the easier it is to miss a new thread because the more active ones take most of the spots.
Will do. Updates have been slow lately as work has upticked quite a ton, but there should be more features rolling out soon. I overcame a huge hurdle with the new editor this weekend so that one is coming along nicely.
