I don’t have an iPhone Plus anymore but body text still increases size when I turn my phone into landscape. Doesn’t anyone else have this issue or it just doesn't matter because phones should be used in portrait orientation?

My Android using the Opera browser doesn't experience that. Text stays the same size despite orientation changes.
I'm assuming you use Safari?

Here’s a short video of it:
(awful streamable quality)
Chrome Mobile does this... and I could never figure out why. I'll investigate but it seemingly makes no sense.
By Elchele Go To PostStill can't search for posts made by myselfMaybe he has deleted them because they are too awful to revisit

I've been on the LG v30 for the last week and have noticed that embedded videos (YouTube/streamable) no longer have a fullscreen option. It's just gone. I'm using and have always used Chrome on mobile but even Fire Fox's Focus browser is missing the option. Has it been removed or am I doing something wrong?
Could've been removed by the third party provider, Youtube, or your OS. I doubt it's something you're doing. I'll look around.
Is there anything that can be done to save posts in progress?
Just switched tab on my phone while putting a post together, and when I came back the page autorefreshed and I lost it

I'm aware haha. The check right now is only on the front-end, and I need to do a backend check as well. I don't really care whether you can, it's just a slightly odd user experience so I will fix it eventually.
By NinjaFridge Go To PostYou can post in locked threads
Just because you can do something m8, doesn't mean you should

By reilo Go To PostYa, I can save it to the browser's local storage. It's a pre-requisite to quoting across pages.this would help tremendously!
the OP for the Creation Process thread, considering the length of the post,
I had to work on it in the span of several days and save the content on notepad.
By NinjaFridge Go To PostVideos in Twitter embeds wont play on Firefox but they do in Chrome. This happening to anybody else?
By Laboured Go To PostYeah just noticed that as well.reilo pls help

I looked into it, and basically it's because of Twitter's HTML5 video codec they used. Your only option is an addon or have Flash installed:

Maybe you have to enable it for Twitter and/or SL&ENT? There's gotta be a prompt that says "yea, run Flash on this site"?
I just changed permissions for both SLAENT and Twitter to automatically allow Flash and no joy I'm afraid.
Hrmm, I do not know then :\
I can't control why Twitter wouldn't play. I wonder what codecs they're using? Some Google-fu shows me it's been a legit issue for a year or two at least on FF.

For what it's worth, playing video on Twitter itself is a diceroll on desktop, let alone other sites. Most of the time it refuses to play.
Cleaned up the backend of the homepage a bit so that Promoted Threads will be marked as read, and Subscribed Threads will not show in the Promoted Threads section. This way your Subscribed Threads will always be in a single consistent place.

Same thing on Resetera. It only just started happening though. Weird.

Lol, you're probably right!
The subscriptions are really not working out for me anymore. The older, longer ago updated threads still come up on top of more recently updated threads, which becomes even more of an issue in topics that get new threads regularly. e.g,. Football November thread is showing up on top of the December thread, and soon both of them should show on top of the January thread? Is there a way to actively "unsubscribe"? I know that's supposed to be the case when you stop participating, but for the November football thread it has been 23 days... at any rate, could it be an easy fix to simply order those threads by date of last post, from newer to older?
Also the issue gets amplified on mobile as highlighted threads and categories come up on top of everything else. Your active subscriptions get really buried down.
Just some non-urgent feedback that I hope is useful.

The order should be by most recent post. I'll double check.
Also you can unsubscribe by hitting the star again.

Sorry I sent you in the wrong direction, just realized the issue is actually that the December thread (and other threads where I participated) didn’t or don’t get automatically subscribed. I really thought they did! Thanks for the quick tip about the star too, completely forgot about it. Got sorted now.
I’ll still leave the point about mobile, although it’s not a huge deal. Just a QoL thing - when you get used to using subscriptions, switching to mobile kind of breaks your flow a bit.
Cheers!

Wouldn't it be way better if the button led to the page and position of that post instead of whatever it does now?
