Feature request: right now, the search displays oldest to newest (if I'm reading these results right...). I think displaying newest first would be a lot more useful (if, for nothing else, as a "who quoted me" type feature) than the reverse.

it's got a touch screen, it is dumb and it supports an older java platform.
Site crashes on me while on mobile (usually on a page with a lot of pictures/gifs)
I'm on Samsung Galaxy S4, it happens on both chrome and 'regular' browser.

I wasn't really having much lag with mobile slaent when I last checked, but one persistent issue is in Safari. I'll click in the reply field but the reply window is too big for the iPhone 6 screen or something and it won't jump to the top. Can take quite awhile (10-15-20, whatever seconds) and a lot of fiddling to actually allow me to start typing.
Only mobile issue I have is that sometimes the ad at the bottom seems to make the page a bit laggy when scrolling down. They're pretty big and sometimes animated too. I think just a banner type ad that doesn't move would be better.

I know this isn't exactly helpful since I can't reproduce it, but does anyone else have their editor spazz out on them from time to time on mobile when quoting someone? It's on Chrome on iOS.
Posting regular replies are fine and sometimes quoting works - but other times I tap on the editor box and nothing shows up when I type and I'm on the 10th line or something. It's hard to explain because it's a really weird bug.
Edit: just read that reilo is working on a new editor on the previous page. Maybe that'll fix whatever is going on.

Images of a sexual, graphic, or profane nature are discouraged. Images containing nudity are not allowed. Outside of this, common sense and a "safe-for-work" rule should be the primary considerations.
just to be safe, hyperlink it and I'll give you a definitive answer if you're really curious. generally speaking though, if it wouldn't fly on that other site than it probably wouldn't work here either.

I re-wrote how I'm filtering out ignored users. Should be better now. Let me know if any issues arise.
i like that it doesn't show a "show post" thing for ignored users. makes me not click it all the time.
I'm sure there are a TON of Windows Phone users here /s but I thought I would let you know of some issues i'm seeing on my Lumia 920 with WP 8.1 using IE mobile.
- Return to top button at the bottom of thread pages is not working.
- After a new page loads and I start scrolling down the navigation menu flashes over the posts for the first 5-10 seconds after being on a new page. Happens on every site page.
- Unable to close the navigation menu after opening it to resume viewing the current thread. Have to select something in the menu and navigate away from the current page. I do see a red X flash in the top right hand corner of the screen periodically when I open the menu but I've never been able to tap it on the rare occasions it stays to presumably close the navigation menu.
That's it! Site looks great and I'm enjoying it a lot. Keep up the good work!

we kinda spoke on the idea a bit at the old temp forum, but the intent is....
'bans' don't really work that well. guys are going to want to get their points across, and they're going to want to get heated, and they're going to want to respond to the dogpile, etc
so to cap ALL of that before shit gets to a level where nothing can be managed, we're hitting the amount of characters the offending party is allowed to post AND their window between posts. not naming names, but say you have someone who likes to spam in an agitating way to all - hype is cool. in order to 'limit enthusiasm' :3, you're not going to booted for 3 months and forced to delete cookies, you're instead going to be working with x amount of characters per post every y minutes or so. kinda like 'probation'. you're still here, the point is made, derails to the point of clusterfuck are curbed entirely, and everyone is aware more or less lol
of course all of this is by discretion, clear expressed intent by moderation, context, etc
