Yeh what's going on here reilo
Unless they keep posting shit like that over and over it's not worth my time preemptively banning an account because we think its a spambot. The easy way to determine that is... if they actually spam the site. 1 post doesn't constitute spamming.

Can we get a feature to ignore all fans of certain clubs?
Think I'm gonna need it over the next couple of weeks
Think I'm gonna need it over the next couple of weeks
relio can we subscribe to threads or can i get notifications, there's threads that I sometimes want to read but forget about them.
Would it be possible that when you put someone on ignore that your posts also no longer appear to them?
twitter video embeds are kind of fucked. before, there was the bird icon in the lower left that let you actually read the tweet but now it's gone. also instead of it being the twitter video overlay it's the standard chrome video playback overlay which prevents you from accessing the tweet link.

Nobody has ever wrapped a url in a url tag in the history of message boards.

Hi all,
You (hopefully) won't notice a difference with this one, but I re-wrote our front-end framework using React and compiled it using Webpack 3.
What does that mean? Well, before and after the update? Hopefully not a thing. It should all function the same. If you notice any bugs, shout them out. I tested on Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Microsoft Edge.
On the more technical side, I also added gzip compression with Webpack 3. What this means that I managed to shave off over 100kb in the Javascript file despite switching over to a heavier framework. This is especially important while browsing on mobile, so people should experience improved performance and render times.
Why the switch to React? The old JSX-based framework I was using hasn't been maintained since I picked it, so I switched to something that I know works, I use in my every day worklife, and something that has incredible support. The stuff that'll be out in the near future within React should also allow me to upgrade easier and be more performant.
On the more holistic approach, switching to React allows me to develop quicker and faster and more and improved features should be out soon.
Next on the docket is the TOS/Privacy Policy/Rules pages. They're written and ready to roll but I just need to put up some pages with a contact form and design a new footer.
After that once work eases up I am going to dive into fixing search.
Again, please let me know if you see any bugs or weird behavior.

What are you experiencing right now? I just did a bunch of network tests and load times should be way down.

"Some of the factors we take into consideration when determining what conduct is considered to be username squatting are: - the number of accounts created; - creating accounts for the purpose of preventing others from using those account names; - creating accounts for the purpose of selling those accounts; and"
And what? I have to know!
And what? I have to know!
I also wrapped up some much needed backend framework upgrades. Everything should function the same, but just in case, let me know.
Also, now that some of these more busy-work/annoying things are out of the way, I can dive back into proper feature build out again.
I'm going to start on re-doing the search tomorrow. I'll see how far I get.

By Smokey Go To PostWhat's the plan on getting this site more exposure
In short, getting a quality product exposure is the hardest part for websites.
We hope the Podcasts we have lined up bring in more.
We'd love to be getting more income so we could run small targeted ad campaigns but a lot of the founders are in-between disposable money.
We hope to start doing more comps through the twitter account for game give aways.
Genuinely curious - and if you don't wanna share this info that's cool - how many users are on here?
Just a ballpark figure

and yet i was unsure whether i could post it in the football thread due to mixed messages, or whether it was any different than fermenting cucumbers with cum

The fermented cucumber just looks like a cucumber at the end of the day, no matter how bizarre the entire thing is. You can't put lipstick on a piece of shit.
Mind you, how they calculate "users" is not an exact 1:1 to what we consider a registered user, but Google Analytics tells me we average around 400-500 users visiting the site per day.
I'd like to see us double that number in the foreseeable future, but we've got some work to do!
