It's further hampered by the fact that not every thread has a cover photo, and the headers change size depending on the amount of text in the thread title, so it doesn't look as good as it could across the board.
I think a simpler, fuller list of threads on the right side in a smaller font size with no cover images and smaller avatars would be easier to look at and navigate. Promoted threads on the left side is still cool, but I think the display size of each should be shorter so they require less scrolling to see them all. Something like this:

Yeah I think the last post if possible should be hidden by default and then shown. Then you wouldn't really have to fret about alignment.
I get why he did it though. Giving people a peek into a thread without having to click is a good idea. Maybe there's a mouseover solution?
It is but then you fit more threads. Also put a default background image or something. Then also make the images all the same upper limit. Looks weird that they show just enough below the title. I mean I like that they CAN do that but it would make it better on desktop tbh. I'll go ahead and make an example.
Yeah, I prefer to see more thread titles than a single thread with a post. There are threads that never get attention because they never show in the homepage and we're lazy as fuck to look at each forum

There, I enabled the provider's preview. Since autoplay will always be set to false, we're beholden to the provider for displaying the title and such, which YouTube apparently does not. So if you check your SoundCloud embed in the SLAENT-Hop thread, it'll look like what SoundCloud gives me. I can individually try tweaking some of these embed sizes. The SoundCloud one by default is 400px tall, so I gotta see how I can limit it. The embed service we use isn't that granular.

Okay, quotes are back. Fixed a few issues here and there. Also added Imgur support (it's under Social). Gonna work on revamping the homepage before I switch gears to incorporating some of the other suggestions.

A small thing also, but not being able to press enter when entering in a link to an image or video or whatever, is quite annoying. I do it all the time instead of pressing the button and then it just quits the embedding popup.

Yea, that won't unfortunately work. Too annoying to guarantee that a gifv is actually a video playable file. So just embedding the straight link is easier cause the editor will do 99% of the work for you.

I like it Reilo but maybe a full bars and full horizontal view would work better than two columns.
Also the editor issue for me is fixed now but the typing on it on Safari is a bit slow and not instantaneous like before.
How's that? I'll double check Safari, not sure wtf is up with it now. Should be fixable. I'll keep you posted.

Editor is fuckt I was trying to talk to Shun via PMs just now and when the text gets too long (below the page) every time I type the window goes back to the top. I can't see what I'm writing past that point. And so then I started writing it in One Note before copying and pasting and lo and behold every time I paste shit it gets pasted at the beginning, not where I right clicked and wanted it to go.

These problems only appear when the text is longer than the page FYI. Seems to not like that.
