Looks like the Spoiler tagging in PMs is a tiny bit off; it doesn't reveal on one click like it does on threads
So yeah you mentioned the latest chats should be up at top, maybe the chat box should be as well or it's a fixture at the bottom whilst you scroll through the logs.
Also if it's possible the chat that has the latest message should float up to the top too rather than just ordered by the date created. That way if one just dies out it's not taking up real estate anymore.

Names should be different colors or something for easy differentiation imo. Or at least make like say the user's grey or something.

Along with several UI enhancements for messages. Next step up is simple unread notifications so that users will know when they received a new message or reply.

Were the usernames always red on the front page? I can't put my finger on it, but when I just refreshed I certainly thought "well this is very different". Yet I can't even make out what is different.

Fixed promoted threads username link color to white, since that didn't quite work.
