It seems like I can't get anything I paste into the comment field to appear .  

After pasting it won't let me even edit the post requiring a refresh to be able to edit again.  Submitting it will leave a blank post.

That's a really odd one. Can you paste just the actual links to the image you wanted it to be?

I've identified an issue where the editor isn't ready to go if you have a large image being loaded and that image finishes loading, ie a GIF loading prevents the editor from working, so this might be related. Also, your second link doesn't work.

Windows 7/IE11 on my work computer. I'm testing it on my iPhone 6/Safari now.

Same issue on my phone. The first image should've been the one of the baby pointing. That's how it appears in the editor, but not in the completed post.

Strange. Tt's working here, but not in a reply in another thread. I'll try again.

I just noticed that funky shit seems to happen when I try to edit and add lines to a one line post (like the one above).

Pressing Enter moves the Submit button and ads down, but it becomes impossible to add text. Firefox on Windows.

This has probably been mentioned or addressed somewhere, but are there plans to add private messaging?

Nevermind it's mentioned in the first post. Everything is awesome so far, really slick design.  Works great on mobile, too.

@flabberghastly: I've identified the issue. Seems to be happening with multiple images.

EDIT: It was a bug with a third party tool we were using. That should be fixed now.

Wonderful. I figured it would be some strange, underlying issue. I'm glad you were able to identify and annihilate it.

Just noticed something else. If I want to add quotes to an existing post, how do I go about doing that?

just some things:

1. i don't like to see my name/avatar at the bottom of every thread, i confuse it for 'one more post', i would make the editor pop up on pressing a button.

2. quoting someone should jump to the bottom, i know this might be a problem if you want to quote more than one person but that's rarely the case,  pressing and then manually scrolling to the bottom feels weird. this could be a manual setting maybe? 

3. i still don't like the blank line after pressing enter.

4. when searching, it doesn't display the thread where the post is from. 

5. Quotes tend to disappear when trying to select text in it. (Safari)

Maybe we could have a quote button and a multi-quote button to get around it.

Also, looks like you can't bold a part of the text in a quote-box without the whole quote box getting deleted.

Great feedback, people. It'll be a good one or two more revisions before the new editor is really dialed in. I need to build in more UI feedback, too.

Several issues with quoting large body of text and trying to modify the quote. Will look into it why it's doing that, it didn't used to a week ago in prototype phase. Also, some trickiness with highlighting large body of text, too. I have an idea of what that might be about, so I'll fix that.

I found an issue with individual post replies. Testing.

It appears as though starting the post with a link causes the entire post to be part of that link with no way to undo it.

Sorry, that's a really weird one, not sure how it happened. I had that dialed in before. It seems to only happen on the second click, which is odd.

well I hope in the future we could get choose which one we want, as I like the old one more.

I just pushed some updates. This should hopefully fix a lot of issues, especially with blockquotes and hitting the return key.

Also cleaned up some of the JS that will initiate the date time much quicker.

Not sure why spell check isn't working. I have no control over enabling or disabling it. Chrome might not support it for this type of editor. I'll look into it.

Liking the adjustments. few things

-quote box might be a bit too bright, hard to distinguish between page color.edit: might be the shitty viewing angles on my laptop. probably.

-Is it possible to insert text before a quote box? eg. press quote button but then I can't maneuver cursor to appear before quote box.

-There's this weird thing with the highlight trigger, it only works on the second try. I highlight something then my selection disappears and only on the second attempt does it stick.

-maybe make the margin for the cursor after a quote a tiny bit bigger. It's a little janky to place where your cursor goes after a quote box. Takes a couple more clicks than it should. Or maybe auto place your cursor after a quote?

-yh spellcheck doesn't work anymore.
