What is wrong with people on YouTube?

I was reading the comments on a recent police shooting of a unarmed black male. Why are people assholes? They have nothing to say, nothing to offer but hateful comments. If YT were to shut down the comment section on every video like that should people would explode with anger as if a "community" had been taken from them. I think they need to shut down the comment section for good. Alot of people need serious help. People are so fucked up and mentally ill they think that these comments are normal. Odd thing is in public settings comments like that are rarely heard. People see these horrific events takes place and immediately say the dumbest shit. Nothing is real to them. Nothing matters.
YT is a cesspool, we know this. Just don't read the comments.
