Unpopular opinion: I'd sell high on Drummond if I were SVG. He's got qualities, but if you sell high you could get better value in a backdoor trade. Average defender, elite rebounder--but some of those rebounds are empty stats from being complete shit offensively. When you brick a post shot and get your own rebound, get fouled and then shoot sub 50% from the line--I'm not sure how much value that really has for your team, and that's happening a lot.
I actually think Monroe has the most upside on that team by a fair margin. He's playing out of position and that hurts him so much offensively...smaller PF's have a much easier time defending him because they've got quicker feet and Drummond takes up a lot of space. Teams aren't afraid to help off of him because they know they can just foul him.

unfortunately whenever a player gets injured and nobody was touching him I just assume its the Achilles... This might have even further repercussions because if they start losing again I am pretty sure Monroe is leaving the pistons this upcoming FA. If they make it to the playoffs I think he might stay though.

With the former you've got Rose calling out his own team, question marks over his form and also of Butler's (who's chasing that max). The Cavs have gotten LeBron back and are actually winning games and still integrating pieces. On the other end, you had Detroit chasing hard for a playoff spot post-Josh Smith, now facing question marks with the Jennings injury.

In the West, Aldridge was recently reported to be gone for two months. With him, Robin Lopez and Freeland out, and the recent Portland loss to the Celtics (who shouldn't really care about winning with all the pieces they've traded away), it turned the Phoenix-OKC fight into a three-horse race (maybe not a legitimate one, but at least potential). It seemed like enough of a threat to get LaMarcus to delay his surgery, much to most people's surprise (which happened just last night).
Then there's the trade deadline with Charlotte and Brooklyn actively seeking trades, with who knows who else. Maybe because your blockbuster trade was getting Austin Rivers, but I'm still waiting to see what happens before trade period ends (and how participating teams manage integrating those pieces so 'late' into the season).
Plus Howard's probably out, which means your boy Capela will probably finally get to play some minutes.
don't get me wrong, the games themselves are good but the top seeds in the east have like zero pressure and the best west teams all seem like they can all hold on to a playoff spot barring any major injuries. seeding doesn't seem to matter that much. i already want the playoffs to begin.

On the ABC broadcast...when it's not during the game ABC plays the background music extremely loud. Not unbearable, but louder than the coaches/announcers/players that are talking.

Kid changed the game. As long as he isn't asked to score consistently he's going to change the Bull's low post efficiency. The Bulls have been regulated to attempting outside shots when Whiteside is in.
