Why the fuck is Coach K playing small? Newsflash, Carmelo isn't a fucking center. No way he can guard the post on a 7'1 dude. Again these lineups at times make no sense.
EDIT: 4 point game... Klay is gonna have to save these fools like Game 7

This Gatlin narrative NBC are sticking to is a bit much. Yes, he's an American, but he's also a cheat and has no fucking chance. He's the complete opposite of Bolt. Hope he rolls an ankle off the start. Would at least justify mentioning his name ever again.

This man is a gawd.
Amazing
US basketball players having a good time at the beach volleyball tonight. Don't play again until Wednesday.

The commentators here were saying the race was a case of the good guy vs the bad guy, Gatlin being the bad one.

He's talked about in very simple terms, nobody wants to hear about his life outside of the time he spends on the track, and while the pundits and commentators remark on how impressive his times are, none of them seem at all impressed by them.
He's essentially been branded a cheat, who either has to lose for the good of the sport, or become a massive blemish on the entire field of athletics if he wins.
Which is fair enough really.
Dude is competing and being tested under the exact same rules and structure as every one else at the games. If he gets busted again, then so be it, people will be validated. But he's an amazing athlete, and his journey to get back to being an elite sprinter at his age is fascinating regardless of the "purity."

He did not like the fact that he was allowed to compete.

He's a cheater who's only relevant because he's an American.
Lily King is right, these people need to be shamed out of the Olympic sports spotlight.

if they follow the current rules and paid their dues in accordance with the sport's governing body, why shouldn't they be allowed to compete?
By Trey Go To Postif they follow the current rules and paid their dues in accordance with the sport's governing body, why shouldn't they be allowed to compete?Because they've already gained an advantage, taking drugs gets you to a level you shouldn't be at. Even if it's just "training".
He's already proven he can't be trusted. Got busted once, went back on it. There's a better than good chance he's back doping, just using a newer drug that hasn't been detected yet.
Nothing he ever achieves can be taken as a true accomplishment.
I assume everyone is dirty anyway, but if you get caught you win lifetime shame.
He can compete all he wants, he hasn't been relevant in over a decade anyway and this is the last we'll ever hear of him again at this stage.
Also, I just don't like his face.

Gatlin is one of 2 people to medal in three 100m dashes, how is he not relevant?

Gatlin is one of 2 people to medal in consecutive 100m dashes, how is he not relevant?
Also, the substance involved in Blake’s case is reported to be a mild stimulant, possibly a social drug, which may not necessarily attract the most stringent punishment — and perhaps not even a competitive ban.

Being American and being caught doping is the ultimate sin combination.

He's one of the fastest men to ever walk this planet, doping or not. Carl Lewis is a certified legend - one of the greatest athletes ever: also a doper. Four of the five fastest recorded times ever are held by doping athletes. And there's a "better than good chance" Bolt dopes too.
Seems more that we should just drop the charade than demand this sort of purity in a sport where we also demand superhuman feats and ever-lowering times.
I understand the appeal of doing things the "right" way, but the sport has never been "fair."
