The offseason is here!

Mercedes rained supreme this past season with the best combination of the absolute BEST hybrid engine on the grid mated to a chassis that put out the downforce to match the prodigious engine.

Lewis Hamilton brought home his second championship in dominant fashion with little to no competition. His team mate, Nico Rosberg, raised a cute, knicks-like attempt but ultimately fell to Nicole Sherzy's boytoy.

Big changes are coming for 2015 as we saw two of the best drivers in F1 history change teams.

Fernando Alonso finally had enough of the Scuderia's feeble attempts of putting together a competent car and negotiated an opt-out of his contract with Ferrari. Rumors of where he would end up ran rampant, ranging from a year off sabbatical from F1 with Alonso joining Mark Webber at Porsche for LeMans to him going back for a third stint at whatever festering remains are left of the team that brought him his two championships at Renault, now known as Lotus. When the dust settled, Fernando decided to make amends with Ron Dennis and take advantage of the new McLaren-Honda partnership, heading back to Woking, UK for a chance at finally winning that elusive third championship which alluded him due to multiple misfortunes in Maranello.

Someone had to replace Fernando at the most storied franchise in racing history, why wouldn't it be the four time world champ, Sebastian Vettel, who seemingly had grown disinterested at Red Bull after no longer having the most dominating car on the grid and a strong challenge from young Aussie charger Daniel Ricciardo. Vettel inherits a team in turmoil. Ferrari has basically changed face overnight, sending home designer after designer in hopes of finally regaining the glory of the Brawn/Todt/Schumacher days. Perhaps a German driver is the one to do it.

Not too many technical changes ahead as Mercedes wouldn't play nice to allow Ferrari and Renault the chance to make changes to their existing power units.

I'm hyped for this season! Can't wait to see what this new Honda lump can do. Fernando is, in my opinion, the best complete driver on the grid. I expect him to embarrass Jenson Button this season as he did Kimi last year.

Jenson Button is the most overrated driver on the grid. Dat UK bias.

What are you all looking forward to this year?!
