By domino Go To Postoh i thought they were one in the same. it's that same blue couch room CTG postedYea Alex and Weezy founded their own studio. Recently Brilliant Idiots has been from wtfmedia.
looks like the wtfmedia one
By domino Go To Postman everybody around CTG eating lolThat's why I respect CTG. He always tries to uplift his people without wanting anything back. He has matured so much the last ten years. CTG on Rogan was one of the most fluid conversations on that channel. He is so good at keeping a conversation going. Regardless of how stupid he can be he recognizes that he is stupid which for a public figure is rare.
Very surprised Joe is even on Lebatards radar. I know Bill Simmons is somewhere SMHing after trying to work with Joe in the Spotify days

When it rains it pours
Summary from Reddit...
Anyone got bullet points? Hard to watch, looks like she doesn't know what she's trying to say
Edit: so I watched it...
seems to be about her experiences on that episode of STTI when Joe was there.
she didn't have any rapport with Joe prior to starting the podcast
Joe repeatedly told her he wanted to fuck her while they were recording. I think these parts got edited out of the episode
Joe said she was carrying the show because the other two weren't dressing sexy enough...fostering an uncomfortable/ competitive work environment. Caused one of her co-hosts to admittedly shut down every topic Olivia brought to the table.
one of her co-hosts (Mandii?) was reporting back to Joe about what Olivia was saying in their groupchat
Joe told her at the break in the podcast he was going to hug her to lighten the mood (weird thing to plan?)...she didn't know he was gyrating on her until she saw the clips
she's mortified that her being objectified will live on forever on the internet
she had to explain to her daughter that this is not okay, and if it happens to her, she needs to speak up. She feels like she was being a hypocrit so that's why she's speaking up now

I can't recommend this podcast enough. It's to do with the search for an Irish paedophile swimming coach. He was due to face trial for child sexual abuse, but if collapsed when it was decided that the Statute of Limitations for the offences had passed. He then seemingly fell off the face of the earth. It's a harrowing listen, but is compassionate to his victims and gives them a voice.

Listened to the entire thing. Really good, thanks for the recommendation.
the boys are on the move
working w/ KD's company (bald dude is KD's agent)
Joe bout to be ill off of this
By Wahabipapagooz Go To PostYeah true. I do miss the days of more frequent and shorter episodes thoughI was like "yeah those Blitz episodes were cool!" But those are also 5 hours long lmao.
He's been doing one 4 to 5 hour long episode every six months for the last six years. Sheesh. The Blueprint for Armageddon series was a little shorter and the releases more frequent but not by that much.

Been two years almost since downloading part three of the Supernova in the East series from Hardcore History, gonna listen to it tonight
Expect I'll be absolutely clueless at the start

I could use something new. Been hunkering down with work and a side project and I'm just burning through everything. I mainly do comedy and movie stuff interspersed with nonfiction informative shit that's relevant; local politics, religion and far left history lately
Like Bodega Boys put out exactly one podcast last month I'm starving

My favourite comedy podcast is Teachers Lounge. Four very talented improv guys playing the role of high school teachers. It gets progressively more unhinged throughout the series. You have to pay for access to the series though.
For informative nonfiction my favourite show is probably 99% Invisible. It's an architecture podcast about all the things most people wouldn't think about. I know that's a vague description, but it's better to listen to and dorm your own opinion. It's great.

The gang from Always Sunny has started a podcast. (Always Sunny Podcast)
Mostly talking about episodes a bit and shooting the shit.
Highly entertaining so far, 4 eps released.

Yeah I just listened to a random episode yesterday, after Hixx mentioned it. Love that Michael Madsen just straight up didnt show up for filming, cause he was fleeing the country for child support. Was a good fun listen, but the way Dennis actor actually talks like him and has the same mannerisms is a bit scary at times.
Best new podcasts you listened to in 2021? Trying to see if there's anything I don't instantly hate. Listened to a few seconds of ICYMI and Darknet diaries and they were both dogshit.
Been getting into audiodramas over the last month. I started Archive 81 the podcast after finishing S1 of the Netflix show. It's a fantasy horror sort of show. It's based on a series of found recordings of interviews and the take restorer who tries to pull the mystery together. The audio version is an entirely different beast. The show follows a rough outline of the podcasts plot, but the latter is more detailed and you learn much more about the inhabitants of the Visser and Dan's mental state.
And season 2 of the podcast is just down right weird. I loved it. S3 is the best if the bunch. Tones down the weirdness slightly, but has the best set if characters and plotting. Thoroughly recommend Archive 81.

I've also listened to The Magnus Archives. It's just wonderful. It's about a group of people working for a paranormal investigations society. The premise is they take statements from people who have experienced paranormal events. They investigate the event and then archive the statement on audio tape.
It starts off as a monster of the week show and over many episodes you gradually start glimpsing the meta narrative. The episodes themselves are very well written, acted and can be unsettling to listen to. The meta narrative is intriguing but unwraps very slowly. I'm 70 episodes in and only just starting to get a picture of all the parties at play. It's the best fictional podcast I've listened to in a long time.

Been listening to Something Went Wrong for a while, and while the structure for this season has been a drastic change (from single story seasons to each episode or two are a new story) the last 3 stories broke me.
The show is about people who were on a relationship but the other person turned out to be completely different that they originally thought.
Last 3 stories were about a woman who was victim of domestic violence and ended being killed by her husband told by her sister and mother, the other was about a woman who was on a fucked up relationship, ended up being kidnapped and raped by her ex with the whole thing ending in standoff with police and latest was about a girl who was groomed online for years since she was 14 by an older guy.
Man, people (but mostly men) can be fucking monsters.

By s y Go To PostI will never not be annoyed at ads in podcasts when I'm paying for a Spotify sub
Glad i don't have to deal with that. Unless the ad is for another podcast of the same network.
Yea I don't have to deal with it here either. I do however have to turn login from a US VPN once every 15 days to allow me to use the service.
Is there a decent full archive of Last Podcast on the Left anywhere with the option to download?
Hoped one would go up when they left Spotify but they all seem to be streaming only, or missing a load of old episodes
