By Dipro Go To PostMy Year in Mensa is a fun listen.I tried the first episode . I like the premise but it's edited like a YouTube video with those stupid *horn sound* zingers. Didn't like the structure either with her jumping all over the place. 1st episode should have just been a primer on the history of IQ tests and Mensa.
Don't think Im gonna listen to anymore.
Tried the first episode of the Reply All quarantine off shoot series, The Scaredy Cats Horror Show but it was really rough.

understandable, i can see how it can be annoying.
By Dipro Go To Posti was on one of the reply all episodes.one of those "we take calls" episodes?
By Dipro Go To PostMaybe…dont worry, i skip those
I'm not doxxing myself.
I got into 2 Bears 1 Cave recently, these 2 guys have some great chemistry and very funny.
Even though there's not a set topic so might not be for everyone, just 2 comedians shooting the shit.
There's the Bert & Bill(Burr) podcast aswell but now they've started doing online podcasts, they're a little less.

By DiPro Go To PostPJ left Reply All 😪I had listened to that first episode of the bon appetit series the other day and when sruthi said she hadn't thought about race before 2020 I knew what time it was 😂
Shame he didn't come through when it mattered.
Reply all has been weak for a couple years now and I Never liked pj either.
Reply all hasnt been that good for some time I think. Used to enjoy it a lot though.
If nerd topics about security is your thing, then Smashing Security is great. Some absolutely hilarious stories about hackers or leaks every time. Great banter between the two hosts as well.

Tried smashing security. Maybe I wasnt in the right mood but the hosts were really unfunny.
I'll try hardcore history

Idk man, 4 hour episodes with that dude's voice and "I'm not an expert so don't take my word for it" every 10 minutes is a tough ask.
Made it 2 hours into the Japan supernova episode and I'm done.
Being a history nerd is probably a requirement.
Gonna try This American Life.

Guys check out Dave Chappelle ep on JRE. One of the easiest listens.
Highlight
Joe: "Buffalo Trace whiskey is the shit! The company's been around since 1773"
Chappelle: "Mm... tastes like slavery."

I had never listened to Counter Clock before but two of my favorite true crime podcasts (Crime Junkies and Anatomy Of Murder) mentioned the recently released season that was so special that they release the whole season in the same day.
Only listened to 16 of the 20 episodes but it's a case that deserves a spotlight.
I wouldn't be shocked to see Netflix or someone else turn it onto a series.
It has the ingredients to be a case that grabs a lot of attention.
A shocking crime, an obvious suspect that could have done it but which the poor handling of the police and prosecuting attorney leaves a ton of doubt .
It could be the next Making A Murder.

Hardcore History is unbearable.
I don’t listen to many podcasts, but some I do enjoy:
BBC 4’s In Our Time
The Partially Examined Life (particularly for things I haven’t read before)
Frank Delaney’s Re: Joyce (RIP)
Myths & Legends
London Review Bookshop Podcast (recordings of talks, rather than ordinary podcast format)
Chapo Trap House (for abrasive lulz)
Mobile Suit Breakdown (it makes Gundam better than it actually is)
Ice Talk

By FligureSkatingFlan Go To PostHardcore History is unbearable.I can understand why it would be. But it's so in-depth that it's hard to deny. The guys cadence can be grating.
By FligureSkatingFlan Go To Post🤜🤛The only podcasts I really listen to are the BBC ones haha. The Forum, The Inquiry, Discovery, The Documentary, and World Book Club are all great stuff too.
Another new one I subscribed to recently is the All In podcast with Chamath Palihapitiya, Jason Calacanis, David Sacks & David Friedberg. Interesting to see their point of view of the world.
Dave Chappelle is bringing out his own podcast today but it's on a paid platform called Luminary?
Also, discovered Last podcast on the left today, pretty good!

Joe Budden: (screaming) all joe budden wants is transperecy
*gunshot gunshot gunshot*
these megacorps don't respect the creators. you need to go sniff around and shake the tree to find out the information
they don't wanna feed the soil
*n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-new joe budden baby voice*
Also Joe Budden: If my boys ever wanna see the books I'll fire them. And then shit on them for 6 hours on podcast with my yes men nodding their heads in agreement.

Joe is a sociopath and it’s oddly enjoyable to watch play out over and over again.

Rory and Mal are clowns. They legit thought they were their own bosses lol.

This man out here talking about respect, lives in dude's house for years without paying shit but makes sure to hide the detergent he bought in his room so nobody can use it except him. Talking about respect. Buncha clowns, all of them.

The old last podcast ones are so much better, got really stale when they got big. Also if you like it, you should really check out roundtable of gentlemen where both Ben and Marcus are on, sometimes Henry too, mostly just his even worse sister though. Kevin Barnett sadly died, so little chance of it coming back I think, not to mention being on fox news and shit like Ben Kissell is, probably doesn't sit well with the shit he says on it. But it's fucked up and dumb.
By LunaticNotFounder Go To PostBrilliant Idiots about to be lit today 😂 Rory was thinking he was Schulz levelCTG pretending to be above it all whenever Joe comes up is hilarious. But he told Rory and Mal years ago who Joe was right to all their faces and they didn’t believe him. Joe rolls like Griffith lol.

Flagrant 2 it is then. I hope they just clowning with that cause I was looking forward to Schulz going in.
not sure if this will stay up but long story short, Rory/Mal were on a percentage deal and wanted to see the books (due to a major accounting error in the past) to make sure they were getting paid correctly. like a crook would when they get caught w/ their hand in the cookie jar Joe flipped shit, tried to create a false narrative, then tried to the redo the deals/structure. complete hoe shit. Joe really became all the shit he hated once he started touching real money smh. you hate to see it.
also it's really funny to me they recorded this in the Brilliant Idiots studio.
